Why am I not getting my allowance of 10,000 inbound links in csv download file? 370 out of 4700??

Hi,
I'm desparately trying to audit my backlinks to remove a penguin penalty on my site livefit.co.uk
When I do the inbound link report i'm not getting all the links in the download. I know there is a limit of 25 links from each linking site so we get the full picture of links bu:

I have 4700 links so why does it need to limit it when we are supposed to see up to 10,000?

When you check the link profile on the report it doesn't seem there are many sites with anything close to 25, so surely that rule is invalid as an explanation here?
Should I just work off OSE? But there is less useful info than on the csv..
I'd be very grateful for your thoughts.

The rule of thumb is to try and keep below 100 links per page as well as trying to limit the amount of site wide links.
Check out the crawl section in the pro campaign - they have a warning if you have to many on-page links. That would be a great starting place to check.

Thanks Kyle. I was already looking at the root domain. But your response triggered me to check external vs. internal and I found that the 370 links in the csv were my external AND the other 4300 were internal... is having that many internal links ok? The site has 92 indexed pages according to GWMT..

This has happened to me in the past, make sure when you are setting your filter you have everything set correctly to get your full link profile. Make sure you have the inbound links tab selected and your filter is set like this:
Show "all" links from "only external" pages to "pages on this root domain" and "show links ungrouped".
The biggest issue is making sure you have it set to root domain, if not you will only be pulling the backlink profile to your homepage. Let me know if that did the trick, if not i would submit a help ticket to help@semoz.org. They are normally really responsive!

Inbound link cleanup and management
Hey guys this is my first time asking a question here but I have been lurking for a while now and have learned a lot here. I have to come up with a plan to go through, analyze, and clean up the existing backlinks for 37 root domains. That to me makes manually looking through the stack one at a time impossible. Obviously there are some great tools and I currently have Moz tools and Raven available to me but am open to acquire something different as well if it makes sense. My questions are: 1. Do I need to worry about nofollow links at all? Should I just separate them out right off the top and be done with that? 2. What ways have you all accomplished this task? It appears that the Web Explore looks for exact matches to a page. I'd like to see all matches to any page. Will regular expressions work?

Link Assistant SEO Tool - Any Others?
I have the most boring copier service website, clients cool, concept is really boring; Well I am looking to generate this client some link back juice, cause this guy is struggling for traffic, and I am am struggling to generate a buzz about copier services?? I was considering buying it. But once I go to purchase it, I second guess myself; "It just looks shady, and the perpetual up-sale, turns me off.". Conflict in reported link data
I have a competitor in a campaign - the campaign report shows 181 linked domains BUT - the site explorer report shows only 15 linked domains. Which is correct? And if the site explorer is correct - how do we fix the campaign report? More than 100 links
Hi Everyone, I was trawling through You Tube and came across this video from Matt Cuts from Google about the 100 links limit being removed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6g5hoBYlf0&feature=relmfu I then logged into my SEO account as I remember a previous report we did for a competitor where they had quite a number of pages just over the 100 links, but only barely (They are highlighted in SEOmoz as a warning). Given that google has removed this number from their guidelines and it's clear that a few over 100 isn't as bad as it used to be, is it not about time this was changed or looked at again? Maybe even put ones like these under a new title such as recommendation rather that the alarmist Warning one unless it's ridiculously high? Is canonical link enough?
Hi SEOmozers! I have a question. SEOmoz analysis report me some duplicate that I thought I had fix. I can give a concrete example. This page: http://www.nuxeo.com/en/about/events/dec2011training-boston/moreinfo is reported as having 6 duplicated URL in the tool. When I click on 6, SEOMOZ tells me "Our crawl bots are getting their joints greased to fetch you even better data. Sorry for the delay!" And on the page itself, I placed a canonical link to follow recommandation. rel="canonical" href="http://www.nuxeo.com/en/about/events/apr2012training-boston" /> As a result I am curious why I would have this reported as duplicate by SEOmoz. Is this a bug? Thanks for feedback!

Trying to understand how a website is getting higher than me with less links
Hi i am new to seo and trying to teach myself the best way to improve a site and the best way to use the tools on seomoz. The problem i have is. i am working on a page at the moment on a site. the page is called weight loss hypnotherapy http://www.clairehegarty.co.uk/weight-loss-hypnotherapy and i have around 130 links going to the page where as a site which is much higher than me in google has only around 5 links. I cannot understand with being new to seo how this can happen, can anyone please explain what i need to do to improve my ranking please. here is the site i am talking about that is higher than me www.weightlosshypnotherapy.co.uk/ any help would be great can anyone also give me a good example of a page before it has been optimised and a page after it has had this done.

Moz Toolbar Analyzer - Links
On the moz toolbar there is an Analyze tool. The third tab is for viewing Page Attributes. That page contains a section called On Page Links. I can see the External Link count, but I need to drill down further to look at these external links. I have viewed a page and don't see the external links this tool is seeing. I have searched the page, the source code, and used other tools on the page. The numbers don't match up. Is there a tool which lists all the external links on a given page?
