Ranking - UK or Localised?
-
The MOZ rankings are based on a GOOGLE UK search, when in reality when someone does a search on Google, the results, by default, are localised (based on the City IP). We need to see where we rank for a local search (Leeds) and also for a UK search?

Hey There,
So no, Moz doesn't do this yet as far as I know. Might be a cool feature request.
BUT I did a quick Google search and found this tool http://www.brightlocal.com/seo-tools/local-search-rank-checker/
Might be worth giving the free trial a go.
Otherwise I haven't run across a tool that does this that I can endorse for sure!
Might be a question better posed to someone on the Moz team, though as maybe I'm missing something here.
Good Luck!
Jacob

Hey there,
Thanks for the question. As you saw our rankings are pulled for the country in general and we and work to remove any localization from the results. You will see your Universal Results if they are included in the SERP, but will not see specific local results.
We do have it in the works to make that available, but I don't have a time frame quite yet. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the blog and as soon as Local is available you'll see it right on the front page.
In the meantime, maybe someone else here in the Q&A can suggest an alternative that will give you your local results.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Joel.

Recovering rankings after a botched url change
Hi there, I have for a long time had a bicycle maintenance website at madegood.org. Over the years the film branch of this business has taken off and moved in a slightly different direction, so I thought in March I decided to move madegood.org to madegoobikes.com, and create a new website for my film business at madegood.com. I thought I did a good job of telling google about my change of domain, but my rankings completely died, so about a month I moved madegoodbikes.com back to madegood.org. So far I haven't seen any sign of a recovery in my rankings, I'm getting almost no visits. I've check all my top pages on OSE and everything seems to be in place. https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/pages?site=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.madegood.org%2F&no_redirects=0&sort=page_authority&filter=all&page=1 Is it normal to wait over a month for my rankings to recover, or is there anything else I should be doing? Any tips/ideas/advice whatsoever will of huge help!

How to rank for multiple keyword phrases
Hello everyone! My website is smartyprogrammer.com. How do you go about ranking for multiple keyword phrases? Using the Site Grade Tool, I rank really well for one keyword phrase, like "Smarty Programmer", but then rank really poorly for another phrase like "Smarty Tuner". However, if I change my titles and all my wording towards "tuner" instead of "programmer", it seems like it will make my content either be spammy sounding, or I'll starting lacking in the "programmer" department. Is it best to just create a separate page to rank for "Smarty Tuner"? Or what is the best way to go about ranking for multiple important keyword phrases? Thanks everyone for your help!

Why would I be ranking for a term when it's not anywhere in my page or pages linking to it?
Hi, I have a keyword that's not anywhere in my page in page-grade tool nor are any pages linking to it with that term, why would that be ranking. The term is "dynamic card solution" This is a company we used to have 5 years ago and merged with our company. This term is ranking #1 for this page- http://www.datacard.com/instant-issuance-solutions . I can't figure why that would be even as this is a newer page in the past year. Thanks for any insight as I'm newer to moz. Laura

SEOmoz not showing Google rankings accurately in Ranking Reports. How do we fix this?
We have a running campaign for a client who has rankings show for Yahoo and Bing within the SEOmoz Ranking Reports, however, Google shows no data or rankings. When we manually check from different IP's and computers and browsers, we see our client ranking very well in Google and for keywords which we have inside their campaign for SEOmoz. Can anyone provide insight into this? Have you experienced this also? Our reports would look terrible going to the client if sent from SEOmoz directly as Google shows 0 (Not in Top 50) for all keywords, so we have to get rankings from other sources or manually to show our client. Thank you in advance for your help and tips everyone!

Moz reporting incorrect ranking
Moz is reporting no ranking on one of my keywords, but when I search that keyword on Google we are on the first page. What would cause Moz to report that incorrectly?
