PPC landing page cannibalizing the Organic page's juice?
-
I have a PPC campaign pointing to a custom landing page.
I also have a different webpage for the same product that is optimized to rank organically (on the same site).- Should I noindex the PPC landing page so it doesn't steal the thunder from my organic webpage?
- If so, does noindex damage the adwords quality score?
- Should I just give the PPC landing page a different Title tag that doesn't cannibalize my organic page and call it a day?
- Does a PPC landing page need a title tag for a better adwords quality score?
Thanks!

yes no-index all ppc landing pages, so they wont impact your seo.
You should keep meta title relevant to the ad group/keywords, as this will slightly impact your quality score. However remember that quality score is primarily based on click thru rate...very little of your quality score comes from text ads or landing page relevancy. My AdWords rep told me that if I have the keyword in the text ad, meta title, and a few times in the page content, you are good. After this, just focus on click thru rate.

Hey, I will second this opinion here.
Definitely no-index your landing page if it is not for a search engine audience & ensure you keep the content of the page consistent as that will have an impact on page relevance and quality score.
Think consistent messaging from keyword to advert copy to landing page.
Hope that helps

I believe no index is a good option and in my practices I haven’t seen the quality score changes due to no-indexing of the page.
I would highly recommend not changing the title tag to add something irrelevant as title tag have a direct impact on quality score!

Gap in Google PPC Ads & Organic search results - New test by Google?
Hi All, Just noticed an unusual gap in PPC ads and organic search results in google NZ. while searched the same term in Google AU, it wasn't the same. Did anyone here see something similar? Is this a new test by Google to get more clicks on PPC ads and pushing down organic results? Looking forward to hear from the community. Cheers, Rattan wcB6DL1.jpg

Looking to syndicate content - can't use PR Web or Outbrain URGENT!
I have a client in urgent need. They have a blog that they are trying to syndicate and drive traffic towards. Their blogs rest on individual URL's and their topics are loosely connected to the gaming industry. We are using PR Web and planned on using Outbrain to drive traffic, but the topics got pulled due to content restrictions. Any suggestions of tools I can use to help syndicate their blogs? Any and all recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated!

Advantage in PPC for megaspenders like VistaPrint and Office Depot?
I sell niche printing and office supplies. Our site goes after certain specific keywords, and we use PPC where we compete against small companies such as ourselves, and the mega companies like VistaPrint and Office Depot. I know about how quality score affects our PPC costs, I was wondering if these huge companies have any other advantage against us in the PPC world. Does their name recognition give them a quality score of 10 on every keyword they buy? Is there a way to find out what your competition is paying on PPC keywords? Do they have other advantages in PPC that I may not know about? Thank you so much.

Best UK PPC management company
I'm looking to outsource my PPC management and would love some feedback on which companies are worth paying for this service? I'm worried as there are so many cold calling scam artists out there and I want to choose the best company for the job. I have been considering "Adrac" as they only charge when they save you money! Sounds too good to be true so I'm automatically sceptical. Can anyone vouch for Adrac or suggest a better/different company?

SEOMOZ of PPC?
Hi The site I'd been following over the years last updated in May, so it's clearly not the authority it once was, I know there's a PPC post here about once a month but I was wondering where do the PPC brigade spend most of their time? My work is 50/50 atm but was once much more PPC focused, is there an SEOMOZ equiv. in the Paid Search world?

What is the definition of 'Paid links' for Google ?
Many high authority sites are doing paid text linking and linking sites through 'Sponosred linking' sections, But, Google does not seem to be bothered. Just because they are already ruling the industry. Sponsored links are obviously not natural, they are absolutely paid, still Google is giving them priority that is why only people are paying huge for them. Please go through the website http://goo.gl/tgfH and see "Sponored link" section So, What actually Google considers as paid link? nNolr nNolr

Isn't a product page a Landing Page?
Before starting a new ppc campaign, I am working on making my site landing pages Relevant. I see some ppc experts suggest separate, noindex, landing pages. But aren't my dynamically generated product pages landing pages- They have a call to action "add to basket" button, a big photo, and orignal detailed conent- prodct description - below all that. Sometimes I would like to advertise we have a broad selection of a Vendor's line- so then my natural landing page is a categegory page with thumbnail photos and the call to action is clicking the photo or product name to go to the specific product page. Can an experienced adwords person help me understand this better? Do I really want/need to create seperate ppc landing pages? What would the difference be? Thanks as ever Handcrafter

PPC ad guidelines?
I learned Google PPC years ago and got certified by Google. Back then and for a long time since I know it was best practice to capitalize words in your domain name. I know Google no longer does this and that words in your domain name of your ad are now all lowercase. I hear recommendations and see them practice that adding keywords in a directory are a good way to still get capitalized words in your ad. When I learned PPC, I was told your display URL and your destination URL had to match. Now I'm seeing ads where that is not the case. If I have an ad that takes someone to my homepage of a coupon site, can I have a display URL that says: mysite.com/Coupons Even if the destination URL is just mysite.com ? I'm seeing conflicting things online and it's hard because I don't know what the current guidelines are after this change.
