Should I try to earn that link?

Hi everyone,
I am new to Moz and here is my first question.
I have just launched a website that took me a year to develop and I am in search for great links, following Moz advices. However, theory and practice are certainly two different things... Although my site is not about stock exchange markets, it does contain an area related to the subject. My goal is to attract links towards my main topic via that area.
I have found that website: zonebourse.com (I am working on the French market)
According to the Moz tools, page authority and domain authority are really good. Also, I believe I can do a very link on my side.However, should I contact them ?
- They have an area in the footer for link building, but it doesn't look to me as "quality work"
- I have been looking for contextual links, but can't find any
My question is should I try to earn that link, considering that according to Moz guidelines, it may not be a quality link, but looking at the harsh reality, for such a "good" partner, it could be it or nothing?
It would be great to hear a few opinions from the Moz community.

i would ask them directly if they have options or if theres an opportunity for you to write for them or contribute and what can be done. Dont waste too much time thinking if you want the link because I think you already do
Plus it's local, it wont be too strict with just 1 link. -

It does seem to me that their footer links are definitely paid and you'll definitely have to pay to play. If you're looking to pitch a great blog post or an article I would suggest first building a relationship with the editors but to be honest I didn't see many editorial opportunities at zonebourse.com. All of their news posts seem to prohibit externals links which tells me they have a strict policy in this regard.
There are probably better targets out there.

If it is a legitimate link, even if the placement is on the footer, you should be ok as long as that page does not have a huge number of outbound links thereby devaluing your link.

I do believe I have that quality content that this website would be interested in.
However, since the only position available for a link back is in that "spammy" footer, here I am getting really confused since it's also a website that have great metrics...
Do those great metrics are balancing the fact the potential link I can earn doesn't comply with best practices?

Welcome to the forum. I would suggest choosing a topic within your industry and producing content that this site would be interested in showcasing. Once you have that quality content, then you can contact the site in the hopes of your content being accepted with a link back to you.

GWT Lists URLs with links to my site, but those URLs don't have links to my site
There are a number of URLs that show up for my website in Webmaster Tools as having links to my site when in fact they don't. I know this to be a fact because I actually wrote some of the sites that Google is saying are linking to my site and I know there isn't any links on the specific pages to that site. For example, the site in question is: https://www.liftproducts.com/ As an example, Google is saying that about 100 URLs from https://www.lift-tables.net/ are linking to it when, I'm fairly confident that there is only 1 link to it found here: https://www.lift-tables.net/info.php?countrytabs=3 Yet Google says links exist on this (and many more) page: https://www.lift-tables.net/liftproducts/max-lift/lpt4w-030-48.php I thought at first it might have been due to linking to a image file directly instead of locally hosting it, but after checking the source, that's not the case. I am also seeing this type of non-linking being reported on sites I have no clue what they are. For example, some Spanish site about tandem bicycles is being listed as linking to liftproducts.com: http://206-225-85-34.dedicated.abac.net/tandem/inc Yet I can find no evidence of an actual link existing. Am I missing something here? Any insight of why this is happening and how I can clean up my link signature would be appreciated.

Outgoing links
Hi Guy's, We have a website with no outgoing links (only Facebook). Is this a good way to score better in the SERPS? Or is it better to have some outgoing "relevant" links for a natural linkjuice? Thanks!

If you discount a subscription when the client links to you, does that classify as a paid link?
For example, we all subscribe to MOZ, but if we received a 25% discount on our subscription if we linked back, would that be considered by Google as a paid link, or would it be seen as a sales tool / promotion?

Internal Link Building
For a large part of our SEO we have been focusing on inbound links (mainly from guest posts and blogger reviews). But our rankings have dropped (though I understand there is a natural fluctuation in rankings quite often) this week and it occurred to me that we should be focusing more on internal link building as well. We, of course, link often to our home page and have related products on every page but we lack a lot of direct key word links in in our description. Would it behoove us to be on a specific product page--take for example owls and friends wall decals--and somewhere in the description add something like "our nursery wall decals are safe for....and have "nursery wall decals" be the direct link since that is a key term for us? I just wanted to make sure that we are headed in the right direction before I spend a massive amount of time updating all these product pages. Any input would be really helpful. Link building during link removal
We were advised by out outsourced link removal vendor not to build any links while they are removing links pointing to our site. I am worried that our site will lose significant traffic if we dont build any new links while waiting for them to remove links that caused our site to be penalized. What are your thoughts?

Outsourcing Link Building
I have searched through various freelance sites for link building services, and it looks like there are plenty of people who can get links on PR4+ sites at a pretty cheap rate. You know how they always say when it looks too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true? People are charging around $250 for 50 links on sites with good page rank, do follow, etc... Does Google (or other search engines) penalize websites if they have a too many inbound links from a single domain? (Say for instance, I have 500 inbound links, and 400 of them are from one root domain.)
