3 months of backlinks building is enough ?
-
I work in my website ,and built backlinks for 3 months, i not built for spacify keywords but in general for my website, but i got little visitors from google, when i will get more visitors ? shall i wait another updates ? is it enough of backlinks ?

Google makes 500+ changes a year which means a minimum 1.4 changes every day. And the SERPs shuffle practically every day to reflect the changes individual sites & pages have made and the changes & new pages/sites crawled & indexed by the spiders. Then there are the big algorithm changes that happen throughout the year at unknown intervals and page rank updates every few months.
So don't wait for an update because they're happening all the time. Keep working at it, tweaking things, building your profile, building your presence, creating new content, sharing that content, interacting with your customers/fans/patrons/users, and so on.

Google updates all the time. The Toolbar PageRank icon is updated every few months, and is not an accurate reflection of Google's true ranking of the site.

what google's updates shall i wait? i heared that google is updated every three month, is it right?

Agree w/Mike. SEO is never fully completed. The point where you're satisfied with your efforts is usually when your competition will put forth more effort to overtake you in rankings....
-
You did not specify how many links or what type of links. If you are a local company the fastest way to improve results is to focus on your major local directories. Once this is done you should look at Open site explorer to explore the directories and links your competition has to see if there are any that are applicable to you. You might also want to check out Whitespark's tool for finding appropriate directories or links. On this type of thing more is better especially as stated above you make sure your links are high quality.

You have to keep working at adding valuable content, and providing a great user experience.
At the same time you should never be satisfied with your backlink profile. Keep working on building them - but stick to high quality, relevant, and non-spammy links.
They are hard to get, but worth the time.

Difficulty getting relevant backlinks
I run a very niche blog on getting section 8 housing. I've had the blog for about 6 years and have paid attention to it on and off. For the past few months, I've been ON again. What's appealing to me is the amount of potential traffic the keywords have and small competition. I have knowledge on the subject. I've read Moz seo guides, etc... The problem is government sites rank high (understandably) or other sites that are nonsense / scams when you search 'section 8 application'. It's very hard to find active bloggers to do link exchange is with as the sites that rank high are trying to scam people and obviously I can't get government back links. I've tried reaching out to people with no avail. I think I have good informative content. All of my adsense goes to charity but at this point it's not much. I'd like to get it out there, white-hat style, but I'm having difficulty. Any suggestions (please be specific), on how I can target sites that would be relevant to this topic and not do generic back-linking (unless you think news submissions, etc will work)? Thanks!

Do Testimonials with backlinks work?
I looked up that testimonials for like, some of our providers, with a backlink back to us, is a legitimate backlink. The thing is they are a provider, not necessarily in the same industry as us. Do testimonial backlinks work?

Link Building
I've been hearing about going after niche directories, and my question is most of them have a ton of links on any given page. Is it even worth taking the time to approach these sites knowing they won't pass a lot of link juice?

To hire a link building company.... or not?
I am doing a lot of the niche partnership link building but I am looking for a company to compliment some of my work in other related areas. Need some advice from the group. A couple of questions: 1. I'm looking for a company to acquire around 20-30 links per month. Not talking about easy directories or social links, but good (PR 3+) sites that are somewhat related to my business. Is that a reasonable request? 2. What should I expect to pay for this each month? 3. Any good suggestions on companies in the US. I am a small startup with a fairly limited budget, at least for now? Thanks everyone!
