Any tips and tricks to increase Conversion Rates on Google PLA?
-
I have recently organized my Adwords (Product Listing Ads) campaign according to this link:
http://certifiedknowledge.org/blog/how-to-create-a-state-of-the-art-pla-campaign
While I like the organization and control this provides, my fundamental concern is to increase conversions. I understand conversions are dependent on other factors such as landing pages etc.
Are there any Google Adwords tips someone has had success with to increase CTR and increase conversion rates?
Pating $10/day to Google Adwords while only getting a sporadic business every 3 days is getting a bit frustrating.
Are there any tools in MOZ that can help find faults and generate simple reports on the Google Adwords campaign?
Any help is much appreciated.

we have successfully focused on high quality pictures of our products... the impact was amazing. It`s difficult to compare because we have a higher budget for adwords but Google loves good pictures. Ensure that you rank with your product pictures within the universal search results (this is also an measurable option within MOZ).
If you provide brilliant pictures then they have a good chance to rank within the universal search and push your PLA listings...

Do the clickable images on pages are bad that they will increase bounce rate and distract users?
Hi Moz community, I'm trying to get some helpful answers on this. We are planning to employ clickable images on our website pages which opens in new tab if users click on them. This is to make sure that they can see the large screenshots of our product. I wonder will this increase the bounce rate and drop the rankings. Please share your experience and guidance on this. Thanks

Any Reports on Conversion Rate Drops in 2014?
I'm looking for some reports about conversion rate changes over the past year as well as any trends you may have noticed about ecommerce conversion rates because we are seeing something quite odd. We are seeing a large drop in overall conversion rates on some sites I manage this year despite seeing significant revenue growth. When I looked through the stats I found something interesting. Our conversion rates have actually increased on each of the three device types (desktop, tablet and mobile) but because there is a huge surge in visits from mobile devices (the device with the lowest conversion rates) and a large decline in vistis from our top convertor (desktop) our overall conversion rates are down. This is especially troubling to me because my bonus was based on increasing conversion rates and I could use some help from you to see if others in the industry are facing this issue or not. Thanks

Any General feedback or Experience on Page Titles and Click Through Rates ?
Moz, I have managed to climb onto page one for a couple of keywords i am really happy with, Just looking for any feedback on page titles and different effects on CTR The page i am working with is product pages I tried a simple headline which was a branded product keyword, this way when the keyword matches the user search it will stand out as the the majority of the title is bold because of this match,, Example below
Jeffs Lollipops
and my other option is to look at testing a more descriptive title to fit the limit
A selection of sweet Strawberry and Cherry Lollipops from Jeff<//Title>

has anyone looked into this and tested for results in CTR ? i can see there being a youmoz about it somewhere?

Alot of people i assume will just say test test test, but any feedback on how other moz users tackle title tags for CTR would be great,

Thanks

James

Large changes in conversions with consistent traffic
Hi Everyone, I am looking for some help, I have just taken over a campaign for a client and we are seeing huge changes in conversion rates overnight. The client is selling a health product and is consistently getting around 1-2k visitors per day. We are getting about 6% of the traffic to the buy page consistently. However, we have found that one day the order process may convert 1/20 of these visitors and another day it could be 1/80. We are only talking about 5-20 sales per day, but I am really confused why one day it can convert so well and another so poorly. The traffic being sent is the same and all other factors are the same (no split testing). There seems to be no logic, the day of the week does not seem to impact, it almost seems random. If anybody has any recommended places to look that would be very helpful as at the moment I am at a loss. Example: Sunday 15th Visitors: 1,279

How to make use of those traffics on non-conversion page?
I am working on a website which sells eBooks softwares, most of posts on the site are teaching people how to solve eBook-reading problems and will lead visitors to download and try the software. But some posts are not related to the software, we just write it for traffic, for example: link-bait post such as top xxx romantic eBooks, free eBooks tools review, etc. These posts have got a pretty considerable traffic, but visitors just come here, read, like/share/comment, then leave. Is there any way I can make use of these pages to convert? Thanks

Do Online Reviews Increase Search Engine Rankings?
Do the mere presence of reviews on product pages increase a page's ranking or standing in the SERPs? I'm not referring to driving more traffic with a product page because there's more content, long tail keywords, more updates to the page as reviews roll in, etc. Has there been any study around whether a product page began ranking better by simply adding review functionality?
