Authorship not working despite code showing rel=author
-
When you run this page through the rich snippet testing tool, it says the page doesn't contain authorship markup.
Problem is, a look at the code shows rel = author has been properly added, and the author has listed the domain as a site he contributes to.
Hopefully someone in the forum can tell me what I'missing? Why isn't authorship effective here?

Hi there! The page you gave as an example seems to have been removed (or the link to it is broken.) Were you able to resolve this issue? I did take a peek at a couple of your other blog posts and noticed that they are using Rel Author to link to a Google+ brand page (vs. a personal Google+ account). Rel Author should always be linked to an author's individual Google+ account. Would love to help you sort this out. Cheers, Christy

Hope this link http://moz.com/blog/google-authorship-troubleshooting-article-attributed-to-wrong-author helps you to get your authorship working fine.

It's quite all right to link the pages you author to your bio page using rel=author, but then your bio page needs to link to your G+ account using a rel=me. This is the way I do it and it works fine.
The other way to do it is to link your pages directly to your G+ account using rel=author, but since you have a bio page, I think you should use the scheme above.
Best,

You need to link the by line to google plus, not internally to the site. See check out my site below and how I have it set up.

See how I have a by My Name with my name being a link to my google plus profile. That is how you have to do authorship. Then in the person's google plus account you have to add the site that they are an author to. Like here is what it looks like in mine.

OG meta image showing something different
We are currently in the process of deploying our homepage at www.laserfiche.com , and as part of that, I have added the following meta tags to our homepage: The referenced image should be our company logo, similiar to how Marketo includes there logo as their og:image. However, instead all I am seeing is a pot of yogurt (http://i.imgur.com/EmhRxEY.jpg) when loaded into Facebook. Interestingly this was the image associated with a recent blog post about company culture (http://simplicity.laserfiche.com/content/developing-wholesome-corporate-culture) although this is on a subdomain (legacy decision) and not directly related with the homepage. Any insights would definitely be welcome!

Should rel=publisher tags (pointing out at Google+ Business page) only go on the homepage?
Hello, I've just read... “Publisher tags should only go on the most significant page of your site, usually the homepage.” Is this correct?

Rel=Publisher On Business Blog
Hello! We were just wondering if we can add the Rel=Publisher on our business blog? We would like to have any of our blog posts that rank to have the small thumbnail/logo of our business similar to the way the rel=author tag works in the serps. All posts are published by our business and we would not like any of our personal pictures showing up. Any help greatly appreciated! Thank You!

Why isn't my Facebook page showing up in search results?
When I search directly for imageworks creative facebook page on Google, I get many results - some of which are not mine and some of which are listings from other citation sites like Manta. I did a site: search and I do see that the page is indexed by Google, but it's pretty important that we get a better ranking than we currently have! This is the Facebook url: https://www.facebook.com/ImageWorksCreative As part of our rebranding, we did have the URL changed from /imageworksstudio, but that was well over a month ago. I feel as though Google should have caught up by now. Any thoughts on how we can get our FB profile onto the front page?

How can I work out who pressed my Google +1 button?
With Facebook likes it comes up on Facebook, telling you who pressed the 'like' button. You also get the number of people that like it. Is there something like this for the +1 button? I can work it out through webmaster tools, but this is delayed data, unlike the Facebook 'likes' which is instant. Is there a way of knowing who pressed your +1 button straight away, like on Facebook?
