When will MOZ allow you to pull data by a specific date range?
-
I can only pull by week at the moment. When will it be possible to pull custom date ranges?
-
Wonderful news.
-
We're releasing the monthly reporting right now, and it'll be available to everyone within the next couple of days.
-
Ditto. We really need this functionality.
-
Hi Miranda,
Happy New Year!
Any update on the monthly reporting?
Thanks
Murtaza

Any news of this? It really makes it difficult to deal with only the current week. I'd really like to see the ability to enter arbitrary date ranges.
-
Hi!
Yeah... sorry there is no monthly reporting at the current moment, but we hope to have it added by the end of the year (for custom reports and throughout the Moz Analytics app). We know this is a valuable view for many users, so its currently in progress, but its difficult to store that much data so its taking us a while to build it in a scalable way.
Thanks for your patience and let me know if you have any other feedback for us. We really appreciate it!

Hey Miranda,
I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but there's no way to compare month to month- or bounce a monthly report, correct? While custom date ranges would be really useful, even if I could just bounce a report at the end of the month and be able to compare month over month (without having to do so manually) would be an incredible enhancement. As it stands, Moz is a great tool for my internal purposes- but as far as reporting for clients it doesn't help me very much at all, as I generally prefer to present most data monthly. Thanks!
-
Awesome. Thanks!
-
Totally understand. We've just committed to making a plan for this this quarter, so I'll be sure to update you when we figure out what's technically feasible. Thanks!
-
I really hope so and that it happens soon. This is a feature that, in my view, significantly hinders the usability of the tool, and would probably be the reason we move off of it if we do. Love the data, just needs more flexibility with how to use it.

Hi Enam,
We're working on adding the Monthly timeframe next. We would like to also allow custom date ranges, but that is a bit difficult with the amount of data we collect and store for customers. It's something we plan to do, but we don't have an estimated date yet. I'll let you know when we've got something more concrete.
Please let us know if you have any other questions; thanks for your patience!

How to remove staging Urls from being shown in MOZ as critical crawler issues?
Hi MOZs, A few months ago we were updating our website and used a staging site to do so. Soon after we realized that it was indexed by G and shown in Search so we removed it to be indexed. The staging site has since not been visible in search except for 2 links that I just found out about today. My question is how to remove the staging site URLs being shown in MOZ as crawl issues or remove completely? I want to do this because the digital reports are connected to MOZ and it shows there are currently more than 400x 4xx errors which are all because of the staging URLs. I already marked to ignore the issues but they are still showing in. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

I've been off the grid for about a month but just came to find I am now unranked in the Moz Community. Anybody know why this happens or how long it takes to get back? I was inside the circle of trust, now I am outside. It's cold out here, please let me back in! Any feedback or help with this is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance Mozzers 😃

Moz usability
Why is it such a hassle to access Moz campaigns from the frontpage of Moz? How can MOZ be so awesome and at the same time be so annoying? Does Moz have UX designer working with them?

Duplicate Page Content Report on Moz - Still ranking in Google Results?
Hi, I am experiencing 2 issues with the Duplicate Page Content in Moz. Every week it is notifying me of new duplicate content - so it seems to be missing duplicate content each week and the crawl is never above the 5000-6000 page mark, which means that it is under 10K which is the limit, so presumably everything is crawled in that one go so surely it should detect all of the dupe content on 1 crawl as opposed to having to do various crawls to detect it no? The dupe content report shows me pages that indeed have duplicate content but after checking, these are ranking on Google for their terms... ? Is the duplicate page content report incremental ? Will it add more duplicate content and increase the report every week or does it just show that week's results? If so, it's a bit like chasing my tail... Help!

Moz forum response seems to crash Outlook?
Hi, Like the new look of Moz. I got an automated email the other day saying someone had responded to a question we asked on Moz. However, when opening the email, it really held Outlook 2010 up. So slow that it crashed Outlook a couple of times. When trying to forward the email to a colleague, I got the 'Contacting \d1...cloudfront.net\img_users' dialogue box, which just stood there for ages, and eventually I had to give up and force Outlook to quit. Please see attached screenshot. Looking at the URL Outlook was trying to reach indicates it's trying to load up the avatar of the person who responded. Which would look nice I admit, but don't really need it in the email if it's going to cause Outlook to crash. There is an 'image not found' icon next to the post, so that's why I assume Outlook is searching for that image. It's almost as if the image is incorrectly referencing a local source (network drive) which it can never find. Perhaps there is a missing http:// prefix before the image in the tag? Anyway, was curious to know if anyone else has this problem, or if anyone at Moz can check this out (update template?) Regards, Rich M6AY0GQ
