Internal linking disaster

Can someone help me understand what my devs have done?
The site has thousands of pages but if there's an internal homepage link on all of the pages (click on the logo) shouldn't that count for internal links? Could it be because they are nonfollow?
I've attached my competitors opensiteexplorer rankings (I'm the 2nd column) .. so despite the face the site is new you can see where I'm getting my ass kicked.
Thanks!

According to Google you have over 2000 indexed pages. However your site does not have any Extremely intuitive ways of allowing someone to navigate to those pages. I see the search directory. I would contact the developer and go through your entire site making sure that it will not prevent Google bot from crawling it

You're getting your "Ass kicked" as you It's said because you do not have more than 2 unique domains pointing to your website.
Total linking root domains are a very powerful metric. If you have more and they are from relevant powerful sites. You will do much better than your competitors. Your competitor has more root domains you have only to unfortunately you need to share content on social media and earn some links.
It is best practice to allow someone to link to your homepage or via your logo it's also smart to have your logo on every page.
This is a navigation link not a duplicate of something it only points to one page and that's the homepage. You can interlink all you want what I mean by that is I could link from my blog to my homepage inside the page. The text or as the developer has done correctly allowed people to instantly return to your home page by clicking on your logo.
Don't worry about it all,
Internal links are really about how many links you have that are facing out meaning links pointing out external links if you have over 300 that can drain your page rank and that has to be looked at on a page by page basis. Use the Moz toolbar to check.
It is a good thing the way to set up that the logo links to the homepage.
Lynn is correct http://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spider/ It's is an ideal tool to use for this situation. Especially if you have the Pro version however if your site is under 500 pages the free version will give you all the information you need.
If you want to check the same thing over the web you may use this tool.

Hi,
If I understand right, I don't think internal links are your problem (or at least not the root of your problem).
The problem is that your homepage is set up so that it is mainly all one page in Google's eyes. Any of those links to different areas at the bottom of the page reload the same page with the map moved and showing the area. If you put your site through screaming frog you will see the same thing, only 5 pages are crawlable. I see you have a sitemap with different property urls, are those all getting indexed if you look in GWT? If the site is new, it might take some time to get indexed, but I think you will need to make it easier for the crawler to get to your pages beyond the sitemap. Reworking your area links so that they are also available on separate urls and giving some links to the properties outside of the maps api and your sitemap are probably the best place to start.
Hope it helps!

Broken URL Links
Hi everyone, I have a question regarding broken URL links on my website. Late last year I move my site from an old platform to Shopify, and now have broken URL links giving out 4xx errors. When I look at Moz Pro>Campaigns>Insights>links, I can see the top broken URL links, however there is a difference if copy & paste URL directly from Moz Pro and by Export CSV file. For example below, If I copy and paste links direct from Moz Pro, it has the “http://” in front as below: http://www.thehairhub.com.au/WebRoot/ecshared01/Shops/thehairhub/57F3/1D8F/D244/C675/E27D/AC10/003F/35AD/manic-panic-colours.jpg But when I export the list of links as an CSV file, the http:// is removed. www.thehairhub.com.au/WebRoot/ecshared01/Shops/thehairhub/57F3/1D8F/D244/C675/E27D/AC10/003F/35AD/manic-panic-colours.jpg Another Example below: By copy & paste URL direct from Moz Pro

http://thehairhub.com.au/Shop-Brands/Vitafive-CPR/CPR-Rescue By export CSV file.
thehairhub.com.au/Shop-Brands/Vitafive-CPR/CPR-Rescue Which one do I use to enter into the “Redirect From” field in Shopify URL Redirects? Do I need to have the http:// in front of the URL? Or is it not required for redirects to work? Kind Regards, John Wall

Can I redirect a link even if the link is still on the site
Hi Folks, I've got a client who has a duplicate content because they actually create duplicate content and store the same piece of content in 2 different places. When they generate this duplicate content, it creates a 2nd link on the site going to the duplicate content. Now they want the 2nd link to always redirect to the first link, but for architecture reasons, they can't remove the 2nd link from the site navigation. We can't use rel-canonical because they don't want visitors going to that 2nd page. Here is my question: Are there any adverse SEO implications to maintaining a link on a site that always redirects to a different page? I've already gone down the road of "don't deliberately create duplicate content" with the client. They've heard me, but won't change. So, what are your thoughts? Thanks!

What do I do with these back links?
In the last two weeks, I've got 10 pingbacks from this http://caraccidentlawyer.cc/coroner-ids-berkeley-bodies-who-were-killed-in-recent-car-accident/ and sites like it. The featured attorney is a competitor of ours and, since the links aren't sex/drugs/rock&roll related, (and he's linked too) I doubt this is a negative SEO campaign, but I want it to stop. These blogs are basically pure spam. Any suggestions?

Internal 302s
I am noticing a lot of 302 status codes on my site. After inspecting the elements, I believe this is because a link on a certain page is 302ing to a secure page. So when it changes the URL from http to https its using 302. Is this something important to change and would I change this to 301s? There are thousands like this. Thanks much!!!

Does Having Links on this blog Hurt or Help?
Hello, I created a wordpress blog a while back, http://plastic-bins.com/ If you go into one of the pages on the blog (for example: http://plastic-bins.com/plastic-shelf-bins/ ) you will notice a link after the text/content telling you where you can purchase the stuff that is talked about on that page. There is one link back to the e-commerce site on every category page on the blog. Does anyone know if these links will help me or hurt me in terms of ranking in the SERPS? Thanks

Do we know if inbalanced anchor text distribution also applies to internal links?
I have the pages of my site linked together very well with editorial links in my copy and blog posts. But now I'm starting to wonder post-penguin if it's a problem if all my internal links to a certain page have the same anchor text? Or is my internal link juice not powerful enough to set off a red flag? I don't think I've seen this addressed anywhere or if we even know the answer to this or can only speculate.
