Is using Only Wire for automatically posting social bookmarking backlinks a good idea?
Or bound to have consequences down the track?

The bigger question should be -- is it worthwhile to do automated social bookmarking at all? Generally, it's better to let it come naturally as users find the content, and not to submit to hundreds of bookmarking sites that may be off topic.

Onlywire is good but i suggest you to manual do everything, find top sites, on Google for top list and go on them register and and bookmark your website. You don't do this automatically its destroy the ranking, and using this tool may be leave a footprint like "posted by onlywire" or "add by onlywire" on your bookmarking and its not good, Google picup all of that.

I am working on patio umbrellas keyword to achieve top 3 ranking in Google. I have achieved top 30 ranking with help of on page optimization and want to achieve top 3 ranking with help of link building. Today, I was checking SEO web directories on SEOmoz. Now, I can't make any changes on live website exclude content. So, I have only one option to deal with link building. Cost affective way to automate linkbuilding?
I have done manual link submissions to directors and other places in the past. As a business owner i find it extremely tedious and find no time for it at all. I have outsourced it since and seen moderate results. There are systems like linkvana etc which promise to give high pr links, are they good? is there any other way to get niche relevant links automatically & cost affectively? Thanks

Social Bookmarking as part of an SEO strategy?
Hi all, I was wondering on my commute to work this morning the effectiveness of Social Bookmarking as part of a SEO campaign. The sites I work on generally have the social bookmarking widgets and they do get used by website visitors. In addition to this we also bookmark our sites, new articles and other new content within the top 5 social bookmarking sites. This is all done as part of a wider social strategy. But could I be spending my time better else where? Whats everyones thoughts on Social Bookmarking and do you incorporate it in your SEO campaigns? Is there a crowd-sourced and up-to-date list of do-follow social bookmarking sites?
It's always frustrating to do a search for something like "do-follow social bookmarking sites", find a list and then find out through trial/error that many of them have switched to no-follow, are no longer around, etc. That's why I thought a crowd-sourced list might be more interesting and up-to-date. Any thoughts?
