Anyone notice a while ago - the "more" drop down used to include "blogs" which really helped with finding like minded blogs for content marketing.

Anyone finding this frustrating and or find a solution?

I know they supply us with: http://www.google.com/blogsearch

Any other hints?

I hate it that they also removed the discussions tab. You might want to try buzzsumo.com Chenzo.

Add a Search box (content hub) for my website?

Hello We would like to introduce a search area in our website, to help our users to find all information regarding a specific topic (landing pages, infographics, blogs, videos, etc...). Before we decide to build everything internally, we were wondering if there is any widget or plugging to make this in a smooth way and that works fine. I have also seen that Google offers a custom search option to make this happens. I would really appreciate advice about what to do regarding this topic: Is there any company that offers a really good solution for this? Is worth to use Google custom search option? I have a domain with rank no 1 in google web search!

I have a domain with rank no 1 in google web search! When I search for the keyword which are the domainname in google adwords, keyword search I get 1.200.000 searches in that keyword. Our domain have only 10 visitors a day - why is that?

Google + Content Strategies

Hello, We are currently promoting a website and are considering promoting content via google + We have technical issues that prevent us from promoting content via the company blog. Our question is how beneficial is it to write original articles and post them directly on a company google + page. Is it good to post articles on google + and write original content directly to the google + page? is a technical option to integrate the goole+ content to the website? Is it better to have your blog open in a separate window?

I've set up a blog on one of my websites, however it doesn't open in a separate window. I know from looking at other blogs that they usually open in separate windows. Is that good practice? Will it make any difference to your SEO performance?

Handling duplicate content in Blogs

Many wordpress themes like mine have a homepage where the last 3 to 4 posts are displayed on the frontpage. Each post also has its own url where the post are shown seperately. How do I avoid beeing seen as duplicate content by Google?

Simple question: How many words optimal for blog posts

Hello, We're adding a blog to one of our sites. How many words should be in a blog post for it to be optimal for the search engines? If it varies from industry to industry, please give a couple of examples. We were going to do 500 words but that seems a bit long. Thanks!

Blogging competition - risky link acquiring method?

We are planning to launch a competition where bloggers can blog about our products and about our company. One winner will be selected to win a gift card to our web shop. In order to participate the blogger has to put a link to the blog post that points to our front page or into one of our product pages. Does Google have a guideline against such "link acquiring" methods?
