How do i add GA to my companies flashed based platform?

Hi,

I work for a company were the service we offer is a flashed based trading platform. We are wanting to add GA to the platform to get an idea of how customers are using this.

1. Can this be done and produce relatively accurate results

2. How can it be done?

Google Analytics has a completely library especially made for Flash sites and platforms. You can read more about it here: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/other/flashTrackingSetupFlash

Something does not add up with WMTs search analytics data

we recently replatformed our main site and switched to https. For the first 2-3 weeks after we moved organic traffic was great, we did not lose any ( increased a little), but then it dropped off significantly. Attached is a screenshot from one of our main keywords that dropped off. You can see click (blue) and impressions (red) dropped off, and the position became unstable, but in the last week it has stabilised to about the same position it was before, but the clicking and impressions are still very low. The keyword is generic (for our industry) and there would not be any major seasonal changes in the search volume. I can't make sense of this data, could be be wrong? Kd3p5f9.jpg

GA visitor number inconsistencies?

Hey Mozzers Recently a client of ours undertook a paid campaign using Taboola and have a vast difference between reported clicks and visitors reported by GA. On further investigation the _utm.gif event is sent to google-analytics.com 50% of the time and stat.g.doubleclick.net the remaining 50% of the time Is this likely to be the cause of the discrepancy and if so is it possible to resolve this without removing the remarketing tag (which seems to be responsible for stats.g.doublelclick.net). Has GA changed how it calculates bounce rate?

Updated website from Magento backend to Wordpress and since the redeploy, my bounce rate has dropped from 40% to 4%. I did check to see if there was duplicate GA tracking code but only one call. I checked reports under "visitor flow" and one page visits seem inline with the previous bounce rate. Weird. Never experienced this before.

GA: Want to have a profile tracking only 3 out of 4 subdomains only?

Hi Mozzers, I would like to track 3 out of 4 subdomains in a profile on GA. I have 4 subdomains: www.example.com m.example.com subdomain1.example.com subdomain2.example.com I would like to create a profile with only the first 3 subdomains without subdomain2.example.com. Can someone tell me what to do to get this? I also have a profile called combined profile that includes all of them with this filter(attached). Can I add another filter to this profile? if it is the case what should I add and how? if not, creating another profile would be the only other way, right? if it is the case how can I filter it to get Thanks a lot! u4HxY06

My GA code is on my site but Google Analytics isn't being pulled into SEOMoz...why?

The CEO wants me to present an SEO plan next week for three of our sites; however, I got this message when I went to campaign overview tab: "It appears there's a problem with our connection to your Google Analytics account. Please go to your Settings page to update your connection." I double-checked the GA code and it's the same on both our site and in SEOMoz...what gives? I clicked on Choose Your GA Profile->Set GA Account and Profile then got this warning: "Are you sure you want to change your Google Analytics connection? Changing your connection will reset our cache of your historical GA traffic data." I need this data pronto so I can set strategy for three sites; any help would be greatly appreciated! Darrell

Google Analytics Admin account not allowing us to add other users?

How Do I Create Custom Reports In GA For First Click Attribution?

It only took me a year and a half to get the code Will Critchlow laid out in a blog post last year put on my website. Now I've finally got it but I need more instruction on how to create the custom report I need in GA! Will said he was going to expand on how to set up the custom reports but I'm not sure he ever did. So, can anyone either direct me to Will's follow-up post about setting up custom reports for first click attribution or tell me how to do it? Thanks!
