Google+ & Yelp Listings not recognized by Moz Local
-
I've been attempting to get a client's local listings all cleaned up using Moz Local. When I first did a scan, the Yelp listing was there but with an incorrect address. I uploaded all the data via CVS file successfully about a month ago. I logged into the claimed Yelp profile as the owner and made my adjustments. Now, the Moz Local tool says there is no Yelp listing and it's also reporting that there is no G+ page.
Can anyone explain?
Thanks!

Anytime! No glitch on either side as it is the standard behavior with data propagation through large data warehouses

Thanks for the answer David. I just wanted to make sure that the issue wasn't caused by either a glitch in your system or operator error on my part.

Hi Janet
Listings vanishing from the check listing tool can come and go when updates are submitted so it may take a while before Yelp and Google's API finish processing the changes for us and other services when queried. This can take days to a few weeks.
Hope this helps!

Unsolved Google My Business and Virtual Offices
Moz support suggests that the community may be able to answer this question, and I would appreciate the help. I own a coworking space that offers virtual office services. Based on my reading of Google's guidelines, A virtual office doesn't qualify for a GMB listing. However, multiple virtual office sites are offering GMB PIN codes if the member signs up for 6 months of service. The claim is that Google will see the address as "stable" after 6 months. The only possible reference I can find for this is 6 months for SEO results. Google expressly states, "virtual offices are not eligible for a business profile." Thanks for any feedback

Unsolved Listing Permanence
Do listings revert to original state after cancelling Moz Local subscription? I know Yext is a feed that needs to be in place for their listings to show, and when you cancel the subscription, the listings all revert to how they were before you started (if you are lucky). I was told that Moz Local was different by a rep of the underlying platform that Moz white labels. Is this true , or still true? Thanks

Updating Local Listings that Moz Local Won't Update completely?
I use Moz local and have for over a year, so my profiles should all be spot on by now. How can you update some inconsistent info that Moz does't provide or is not updating. I have tried to go in and claim some of the listings that the information isn't filled in properly or the ones that don't have the categories filled out that I know Moz Local won't do, but it is saying it is managed by Moz and won't let me claim it. What can I do.

What do I do if the business listed in Moz Local Business Listing for Yellow Pages is wrong?
Hey there! I have a business listing set up in Moz Local. The system seems to have accurately found the business on most networks, but on Yellow Pages, it has a completely different business listed (my business is a Pilates studio and it has a soccer club listed). What are the steps I can take to fix this? I can claim my listing on Yellow Pages, but after I do that, how does Moz Local associate the two? Thanks, --eric

Does Moz track mobile queries?
Sorry if this has been asked before (searched to no avail), and it's probably a dumb question... but if you're still reading... 🙂 I'd like to determine which pages of my site show up on MOBILE searches (i.e. user is on an iPhone). I know that Moz shows searches "from" a certain location, but my understanding (which may be wrong!) is that the SERP on a mobile device is sometimes different from a desktop search. Ultimately, I'm trying to decide whether to create a whole different layout for my home page ONLY for mobile devices, and if virtually everyone finding my site on a mobile phone would see that page first. I figured if Moz tracked "mobile SERP rankings", then I could simply see if any pages besides the home page are ranking for my targeted terms. Any thoughts or clarifications greatly appreciated! 🙂 ~ Scott

Moz Local not being verified...is service area the culprit?
I've done Moz local before, and it worked without a hitch. However, this time I'm doing it for a service area business that does not show an address on Google. It's been well over a week and none of the local listings have been updated. Could this be because they require a physical address? Or, do I just need to be patient?

With Moz Local rolling out today, will there be a reporting option for local, similar to the current moz reporting?
Thank you for creating a great method for adding local business information to the major data aggregators. Are there plans to create reporting for local, in the future? I'd love to keep my reporting all in one location. Thanks, Kathy
