Hi guys,
I'm working on a project and I need to identify any on-site issues that may be affecting this website:
If anyone has any thoughts, I would be more than happy to hear them.
Thanks guys

Just a quick note that this forum is publicly indexed, so if someone searches for the site name, they may find this question as well.

Have you run the site through Moz to see the on site SEO errors it picks up?
Other than that I can make a few suggestions
The product url structure needs fixing, they are not good for SEO
Same with the image url structure as well, it doesn't seem like you are using alt or title tags either. I would use them.
I don't know what cart software you are using, but it seems to take more resources than the server has, it takes almost 3 seconds of wait until the first piece of data is spit out [removed] Just run the site through tools.pingdom.com
I would have an add to cart on the category and home page of the shop.
I would have the filters add hashbangs to the url that can be indexed, they are pretty much a good way of doing category slugs.
I think the design is clean and looks visually good, from an SEO and conversion stand point I think it needs a bit of work.

Some suggestions:
Use rel=canonical on your front page.,
Check if these images need ALT tags:/Content/Images/ISSUE/8/0/4/1/LatestIssues/f6c25686-8406-461e-b168-7b59c386f61a.png - Geen IMG AlT tag!

Help recover lost traffic (70%) from robots.txt error.
Our site is a company information site with 15 million indexed pages (mostly company profiles). Recently we had an issue with a server that we replaced, and in the processes mistakenly copied the robots.txt block from the staging server to a live server. By the time we realized the error, we lost 2/3 of our indexed pages and a comparable amount of traffic. Apparently this error took place on 4/7/19, and was corrected two weeks later. We have submitted new sitemaps to Google and asked them to validate the fix approximately a week ago. Given the close to 10 million pages that need to be validated, so far we have not seen any meaningful change. Will we ever get this traffic back? How long will it take? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. On another note, these indexed pages were never migrated to SSL for fear of losing traffic. If we have already lost the traffic and/or if it is going to take a long time to recover, should we migrate these pages to SSL? Thanks,

Are Pages that have High Traffic and High Bounce Rates helpful?
I work as a marketing director for a small law firm. I had some basic SEO experience prior to joining the firm but I'm still building my knowledge base. I'm working to take over where the previous web developer left off and improve the site. The previous firm had developed pages for the law firm featuring yearly car crash statistics, statistics for bike crashes, etc. These pages get a good amount of hits but people quickly jump off the pages, and most are not even located in a region where they could potentially become a client. I feel like they added the pages to show the client that there was an increase in search traffic. However, 100% of the traffic bounces quickly after viewing the statistics pages. Does a page that has a decent amount of hits, but doesn't lead to conversions and has a nearly 100% bounce rate worth keeping around? My thought is, I would like to remove these pages that do not actually attract potential clients and reduce the overall bounce rate of the site. I don't want to take actions to remove the page without throwing this question out to more experienced people.

Help: my WordPress Blog generates too many onpage links and duplicate content
I have a WordPress Blog since November last year (so I'm pretty new to WordPress) and the effects on ranking for some keywords are really good. So I thought tag clouds are good. Crawl Diagnostics tell me now that I have too many onpage links for example my author page breaks the record: 256
On-Page Optimization | | inlinear
http://inlinear.com/blog/author/inlinear/ I think thats because there are links for each word in the tag cloud generated ... On this page (and many other pages) WordPress displays (teasers) the beginning of each post (read more ...) producing duplicate content and even new canonical tags.... The page titles are also too long because I installed "All in One SEO Pack" and now this plugin and wordpress itself mixes titles together ... But what can I do to avoid all this. Is there a PlugIn that can help... I think millions of blogs will have the same problems... I my blog yet has very few content. Thanks for your answers :))0 -

To many links hurting me even though they are helping users
I have a scrabble based site where I function as a anagram solver, scrabble dictionary look up and tons of different word lists. In each of these word lists I link every word to my scrabble dictionary. This has caused Google to index 10018 pages total for my site and over 300 of them have well over 100 links. Many of them contain over 1000 links. I know Google's and SEOMOZ stance that anything over 100 will hurt me. I have always seen the warnings in my dashboard warning me of this but I have simply ignored it. I have posted on this Q and A that I have this issue, but IMO having these links benefit the users in the aspect that they don't have to worry about coping the text and putting it in the search box, they can simply click the link. Some have said if it helps the users then I am good, others have said opposite. I am thinking about removing these links from all these word lists to reduce the links per page. My questions are these. 1. If I remove the links from my page could this possible help me? No harm in trying it out so this is an easy question 2. If I remove the links then I will have over 9000 pages that are indexed with Google that no longer have a link pointing to them, except for the aspect that they are indexed with Google still. Is it going to hurt me if I remove these links and Google no longer sees them linked from my site or anywhere else?
