All in favor of an "Announcements" category section say MOZ!

So this is just a thought. I am not Rand, therefor I am not the Moz man himself, and therefor I am not telling anybody how to run this website or forum. But, I've been thinking... and usually that a dangerous thing. So many times when I answer a question I end it with:
- "Keep me posted"
- "Keep us updated"
- "Good Luck"
In the same light there have been plenty of times when I have had my questions answered by people like EGOL, RobertFIsher, KeriMorget and they have said that they have wanted me to keep them posted.
Now sure, some of you are sitting there being Melancholy Mozzers thinking that all those wonderful people are just being polite by adding some nice parting words... but what if I they are being Sincere Seoers? What if I WANT to fill them in and don't want to ask a question? What if... THEY REALLY LIKE ME?!?!
I could also send a DM to those 3 people, I mean let's get honest I'm not THAT popular.... but I can dream can't I?
Again, this isn't really an SEO question, more of a thought on where I'm supposed to give updates on my project. In all honesty I do want feedback on what I'm doing, and sometimes I don't even know what questions I'm supposed to ask!

Don't forget too that most of us who reply to questions also enable the ability to be notified by email anytime another reply is added. So even months later, if you update the question with a new response, most of the original participants will get a heads-up about your addition.

I would love it there was a project tracking feature!
Something where I can plug in any changes that were made things like that. Almost like Basecamp + Moz Yet something that I could share with the forum.
I will def keep that in mind and make sure I update my questions!

As Keri suggests, I think that it would be great to add an update to the original question.
We would like to hear if you tried anything and how it worked. That type of sharing is a way for everyone to learn - especially if you tried something that we suggested and it didn't work out.
I am glad that you are interested in doing this. So many people ask a question, we spend time to reply and they never even return to the post to disagree with us.

Yeah, I did notice that, I wasn't exactly sure as to how it functioned. Thank you for clarifying the timeline too!

Usually, the best place for an update is within the thread itself. Did you know that we have an "active" tab (which links to http://moz.com/community/q/active ) ? This will sort questions by most recent activity, so even if the question is six months old, if it has a new comment, you'll be able to see that come up on the home page of that tab.
Keeping the question updated within the question is great for people who come to the site a year down the road and wonder what happened in a particular situation, especially if they are not a Pro member and can't add a question to the thread.

I added a privacy policy link to my footer and now Moz is showing thousands of 4xx errors
My website didn't have a privacy policy so I added one and put the link in the footer menu. When I did this, Moz came back telling me that there are a lot of new errors on the site. Is this a bad thing? Do I need to address it? HY59Iks sYyAHCB

Need to solve "Oops our crawlers were unable to access" url for new campaign
I'm putting the url designfirstkitchenandbath.com and getting the "oops! our crawlers were unable to access the site. Since this site is a potential client, which shows up online, I can't get access to fix the code, plus while I can write a little html I don't feel comfortable working with hard, live code on someonelse's site. Anyone have a simple solution?

Inaccurate results in MOZ Rank Tracker
Hello, We recently ran a test on Rank Tracker and got a result indicating that the page in question was in position #17. We did a manual check on a Google USA SERP for the query, and found that we weren't in results where the tool had indicated. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this discrepancy? Thanks!

MOZ Freshweb reported mentions that really does not contain any mention - anyone else experiencing this?
MOZ Freshweb reported links from "traffic.fullcontentrss.com" that doesn't really contain any mention. Is this a MOZ error or is it maybe since fullcontentrss.com has a javascript that pulls data into their own RSS, MOZ ended up crawling partially and as a result not reporting the correct URL? Anyone else experiencing this anomaly?

How can the Moz Page Grader support a 'keyword portfolio' approach?
I used to use the Page Grader tools to support the old philosophy of one page - one keyword. With more focus now being given to a portfolio of keywords around a topic area - what would be a good approach to using the page grader tool? Obviously getting A's and B's is impossible for multiple keywords. The only way i've seen suggested in moz tools to help with keyword portfolios is to use labels in the ranking measurement and then find averages of the results. Are there other strategies that I can try?

Blocked Production Site from Search Engines - How to get it Crawled by Moz Crawler
I have an 'under development' site hosted, (which is an exact replica of live site as working on to add new functionalities & modules) - but its password protected, excluded from robots.txt (Disallow) & also marked noindex on all pages in the index - so that Googlebot & other Search Engines can not crawl the site At present the development work is almost 95% completed., Now - feel like to crawl the site through SEOMOZ Roger Bot - to know the errors and all indexed urls by Rogerbot. What's the best way to get Moz Bot crawl the site - but simultaneously continue it blocking its access to Search Engines I have gone through - https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/93708?hl=en, it says a) Save it in a password-protected directory. Googlebot and other spiders won't be able to access the content- But this way Moz will also not be able to crawl the site b) Use a robots.txt to control access to files and directories on your server - However it also says - It's important to note that even if you use a robots.txt file to block spiders from crawling content on your site, Google could discover it in other ways and add it to our index. c) Use a noindex meta tag to prevent content from appearing in our search results - It also says that a link to the page can still appear in their search results. Because we have to crawl your page in order to see the noindex tag, there's a small chance that Googlebot won't see and respect the noindex meta tag Password Protected thus seems the best way to continue blocking. However, continuing with it will also block Moz bot to crawl the site. Any suggestions Thanks
