Is it important for SEO that YouTube and Google + be used under the same Google Account?

Hello - I have a client that has their Google Plus and YouTube under separate Google accounts. My thoughts are that it'd be best for SEO and awareness with Google that their active YouTube channel to be under their active Google Plus account. My question is: Is it recommended for SEO that we upload the videos to her prominent Google business account (they only have about 100 subscribers)? If we did this we would delete them from the other account to avoid dup. content. We are in a position where we can make this change easily if it is recommended and good for SEO--which I would think it would be. So we would like to know now if we should make this change before we grow the YouTube channel further, or if we should leave it how it is.

It kind of makes sense to include it on 1 account. I notice Google is trying to get users to consolidate google accounts now (if you have a few google accounts you'll notice the: what account do you want to login with option)
Definitely stick to 1 brand 1 Google account (for youtube and G+)

Benjamin is correct in regard to ease of management. For as simple as it should be, having multiple profiles confuses others quite a bit (namely, your team). You would lose those subscribers if you just up and killed the current Youtube account. How about a Youtube post on the current channel that states something like; "We've moved to X, so if you want to get the latest, subscribe to X channel".
Keep the old one up for a few months, and if any subscribers were remotely engaged - they can sub the new channel. Then everything will be easier to manage.
Of course, you could lose some referrals if you just ditch the current channel.

I think it is better for uniformity and branding of a person or business to have everything together under one google acct? In my opinion i don't think it will effect anything either way but it's probably easier ya know?

Our company is an eCommerce site for aftermarket automotive accessories, we have been posting videos on our site. On some pages we have videos embedded from Youtube and on other pages the videos are embedded but in a Popup Image Class. Below I'll provide an example of one way we put the popup image class on our site <iframe id="vidf" style="display:none;" width="460" height="320" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/MattCutts?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe> Now concerning SEO would it be better just to embed a video the traditional way or use the popup image class? The reason I ask is because the popup image class hides the video on the page with an image on top then once you click that image the video pops up. Can Google still crawl/see the video? How do i change primary mail in Google?
By a mistake, Google have added on of our employeers gmail as the primary mail, that are attached to our YouTube channel. We want to delete that gmail, but without loosing our data, and all the information we have on our channel. We also want to connect to G+ with a new gmail, but now it seems that Google have created a G+ profile related to the "wrong" gmail. Have anyone got experience with this problem, and have a solution for this?

Using Youtube, UK that has been working well to boost clients SERP results and general marketing. Does anyone know how to arrange uploads within your YouTube channel, know you can do this for playlists but can't see for uploads despite there being some videos on the topic? Google+ - Is it worth it?
I've been looking at putting some of my companies on Google+ but I've just done some quick research and it doesn't seem like many of our competitors or even any in our industry is on there. I have heard that by having a Google+ presence it will help your organic search ranking. However, I'm not sure how true this is. Is it worth setting up a Google+ page if it's likely that you're not going to get much activity on it?

Should I use a subdomain our primary domain for this content?
Hi, We have an eCommerce site www.refreshcartridges.co.uk and currently publish videos, unique articles, troubleshooting advice etc. on a subdomain igloo.refreshcartridges.co.uk. The hope is that the content on igloo will prove sufficiently useful for someone to either link to or bookmark for future reference. Eventually this will hopefully result in sales through the main site. We were assured several years ago that we should host this content on a subdomain but the more I think about it, the more I think that this content should be hosted as part of the main site (for example www.refreshcartridges.co.uk/igloo/). My logic is that this would extend a couple of advantages, not least that any links built to this unique content would be attributed to the primary domain rather than the subdomain. Although I appreciate the subdomain does link back to the primary domain I can't help but feel this dilutes the potential strength of any link. Post Penguin I think it would be nice to get genuine, natural links appreciating content on our primary domain rather than a separate subdomain. It should probably be pointed out that we only publish articles related to our key business activity (printing, cartridges, technology) on igloo. There is no unrelated content designed simply as link bait. If we were to make the move we would of course 301 all the old pages.. I would really appreciate your opinion on whether you agree or whether you would be tempted to keep the content on a subdomain. Thanks for your help! Chris
