Hi Walter,
also notice that your Joomla's images/ directory is blocked by robots.txt file: http://www.mconcrete.com/robots.txt where it says:
Disallow: /images/
This means that your images within the gallery would not be indexed because image path is:
http://www.mconcrete.com**/images**/stories/stamped/stamped-1a.jpg
You have to have that robots.txt line deleted in order to have images stored in images/ directory indexed by search engines. By default, most images in Joomla that you upload will be stored within the /images directory (media manager).
Best,
Ogy

this is one case where dual monitors did not make me more efficient
Apologize for getting the name wrong.

It was Dan.. not me.. but yeah great catch I am using Joomla with an image gallery extension and the nofollow is getting injected automatically by the extension.
-
Great catch Walter.

Awesome thanks for the find.

Walter
Looks like you have a "rel=nofollow" in the <a>links for every image. I would remove that, and your images should get indexed.</a>

I will change the alt text but even so searching the exact phrase in the current alt text still yields not result from my site at all. I'm not sure Google has indexed any images on my site good alt text or not.

At a quick look I would say the name and ALT of your images are the issue.
Stamped Concrete Patio Munoz Concrete Design - Sacramento
That sux as an ALT text. This does not describe the image at all, which is the intent of the ALT tag for screen readers to help the visually impaired.
Stamped concrete patio tile - brown with grey marble
brown-grey-marble.jpg or brown-grey-marble-patio-tile.jpg but that is a bit long.

Image Sitemap - Are You Using One?
We have a lot of nice images and I have been thinking about uploading an image sitemap. If you would care to share your experience with the questions below, I would appreciate hearing what you have learned. Thank you. Have you been using an image sitemap? Do you think that it has brought some benefits to your domain's presence in image search? Did you include thumbnail - size images or only the full size images?

Why are my blog slideshow images not indexed?
I'm managing a design blog hosted on WordPress. Each "design project" article includes a slideshow with additional images (and captions) for the project - these are images and text not found in the article itself. Every slide has the same page path as the article, but a different query param at the end. So if the article is /article the first slide would be /article?slide=1 for example. I'm having two issues: The slideshow images don't seem to be getting indexed. Screaming Frog reports duplicate meta descriptions and title tags for each slideshow page (same meta as article). I want to do what's best overall from an SEO perspective. Having the slideshow images show in Google image search is a must. And having the captions indexed might help too? But I want the Google image results linking to the article and not the individual slideshow pages. And I don't want duplicate meta issues. What's the best thing to do? Submit a sitemap that lists both article and slideshow images? "Rel canonical" the param'd slideshow urls to the base article url (not sure this makes total sense, since slide content is different from the article)? Get rid of slideshow altogether and put images in body? Some combo of these? Hopefully this makes sense. Any thoughts appreciated!

Hi, Do you think the use of image data URI is SEO friendly? I got 20 JPG icons on each site, but use too many HTTP requests. So can i use base64 (URI) images for my small icons? Thank you for answer!

Additional Details in Google Places - Should I bother?
I see that the Additional Details I've been inputting in Google Places aren't publishing while everything else is. Why would they offer those fields if they aren't even displayed on the G+ page? Is it recommended to fill them out anyway? dvfWnHP

Google Places / Map Results CTR vs Top Organic Result
I have a client who is currently ranking close to the top of the Google Places results for a handful of important local keywords. They have a competitor who is pretty consistantly ranking in number #1 and #2 organic positions, above the Places results. Does anyone know the average click through rates for results similar to these? Do the #1 and #2 organic positions still outperform the lower placed Google Places (with side map) results when the search intent is very local? I just wonder if they are possibly in a better position as-is if people are more likely to use the map or places listings on the SERPs page, rather than click through to another site. Thanks 🙂

Optimizing Google Places
Hey everyone, Trying to improve my Google Places page for the Pet Medical Center of Las Vegas but am having trouble knowing where to start. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot that can be customized.
