Page Authority dropped to 1 for subdirectory in my site
-
Hey, one of my sites https://www.automationanywhere.com/testing has had all it's pages drop to a page authority of 1 in Moz and the campaign doesnt appear to be indexing any pages from this directory. We launched a new site in this directory on the 12th and havent been getting any moz love since. The pages are indexable and followable, and are being indexed by google and others. The site on the root domain has been unaffected.
Please help me get my moz campaign back on track.
Thanks!

What you will want to do is search for the external linking sites to see if we have crawled them to find your pages. We do not have to crawl your site to find your backlinks, only the external linking sites.
For your campaign settings the correct URL needs to contain www. The current campaign is added as the root domain and since it re-directs to the sub-domain, our tool is only looking to track the root domain version. The campaign will need to be re-created to track www.automationanywhere.com/testing/ and not automationanywhere.com/testing/

This is still an issue for us. We fixed our redirects (or at least attempted), we've waited several months, and still pages other than the homepage for this domain have no page authority (on the moz toolbar) and are not showing as being crawled by the crawl diagnostic tool from within the moz dashboard.
Can you please provide further assistance?

Hello!
Your site has too many re-directs setup which will prevent our crawler from reaching more pages.
Your campaign is setup to crawl the sub-folder www.automationanywhere.com/Testing
which re-directs to http://www.automationanywhere.com/testing (301) which then re-directs to https://www.automationanywhere.com/testing/ (303)
You will need to update the re-direct to be a 301 and re-create the campaign to track www.automationanywhere.com/testing/ with the lowercase sub-folder name.
For OSE it may take a few index updates to catch up and the previous URL had low authority to begin with so to help get index you will need to continue to build strong backlinks on sites with high Mozrank. With our site ourselves having high DA it took about 3 months for our links to be moved over from seomoz.org to moz.com

I noticed the campaign is listed as /Testing/, which has a 301 to /testing/. I don't know if this would cause the problem you're seeing or not.
I'm assigning this question to our help desk, because it's out of my area of expertise. They'll be back to you within a day or two (Mondays take longer, since we are catching up from the weekend).

I am having problems with both OSE and Crawl Diagnostics on https://automationanywhere.com/testing. In our campaign for /testing CD says only 1 page was crawled. In OSE/moz toolbar the page authority for all pages is 1.
https://automationanywhere.com/ the parent site is working fine.

The update was on July 23rd, so it may have been that we crawled your site earlier in the month (before the 12th) and the new pages weren't included at that point. You should start seeing more in OSE at the end of the month.
Are you only asking about OSE, or also about crawl diagnostics? Just making sure I'm answering the question correctly. Thanks!

KeriMorgret,
Thanks for the reply but we launched the new site on July 12, wouldn't this have been before last month's update?
-
We update our metrics about once a month, so if the site on the subdomain was launched after our last index update in July, that would be why you're not seeing any data. Our next update is scheduled for August 28th.

My site links to my clients not showing in Moz
I've got a web design business with a site that's been out there for 17 years - www.biztoolsone.com. I've got links to my clients' sites in my portfolio page. The backlinks list for my clients, when I check them in Moz, don't show the links from this site. They always showed in the list until a few months ago. The site has a DA of 59 & PA (for home page) of 50. The spam score is 0/17. I'm having a tough time telling my clients that the Moz backlinks list is accurate when that site doesn't show in the list. The same is true for www.fayettevillenc.biz - this is one I created years ago to generate backlinks. It's got a spam score of 4/17, so I'm a little more understanding of that one. Thanks for any guidance!

Site moved to https and not showing any Moz DA or PA
Hello Fellow Mozzers, So, I have a client site that we moved from non https to https at the end of 2015. We had decent moz numbers (Da/Pa etc) but now we are only showing a 1 for both of them. Does it usually take time for Moz to carry over the info to the https version or does that process entirely start over? Not sure where to start looking. Cheers D

Open Site Explorer Messge - Mysite.com redirects to www.mysite.com
Hello All, When I plug in my site's URL http://mysite.com ( Not my actual URL of-course) into the OpenSiteExplorer tool I get the following message: "You entered the URL http://Mysite.com which redirects to http://www.Mysite.com/.

Because it's likely to have more accurate metrics, we're showing data for the redirected URL instead.
Click here to analyze http://Mysite.com instead?" Not sure why I am getting this message. On my hosting server, I have defined my preferred domain to be the non-www. version. I have also used a Canonical Tag on Mysite.com/index.html file ( ). In addition, on Google Search Console ( Webmaster Tools ) , I have added both the www. and non-www. properties, where on both property settings, I have defined the non-www. version as my preferred one. Also, on my server, I have not implemented any 301 redirects at all. So my questions are: Why am I receiving this message when plugging in my non-www. URL version of my website into OpenSiteExplorer? Is my DA or PA possibly being split up between the two versions as a result? Should I be concerned? How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.0 -
Open Site Explorer metrics report says we have 9 linking root domains, but way more than 7 are listen. What gives?
When I run a report on my website in OSE (SelectAccount" metrics tells me we have 7 "established" root domains and 9 total links. But the detailed report below has many dozens of links. What is metrics telling me?

Does Feedburner URL of the Home Page Carry Link Equity?
Hi There, During an SEO Audit, I found that OSE categorizes Feedburner URL of root domains under link-equity passing and followed. For example, the following link has been categorized under link-equity passing and followed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/SpoonflowerBlog I have heard that a lot of SEOs saying feedburner links don't carry any link juice. If that's true, then why does OSE categorize feedburner URL of root domains under link-equity passing and followed? I would appreciate if someone from the Moz staff could take some to answer this. Thanks.
