I don't believe moz is seeing everything that is on my webpage
-
I used the page key word grader and got an "F" Moz said that my keyword employee handbook was not in my title nor was it found in the body of my page. But when I look at the page and double check everything it is there all over the place.
I am not blaming moz this is a wiz site and while I am a beginner and very well could be wrong could anyone just take a look and tell me if I am nuts or what. The web page is http://www.cestoday.com/#!employee-handbook/co0h I now have the font so big I will have to fix that.
Thank you

If you're using Wix.com, and they use AJAX... here's what you can do to verify google is scraping your site properly.
- go to google.com and simply type "site:yourURL.com"... no spaces between the colon and your site name. This will return Google's index of your site, and then you can look at the cached pages to ensure they're seeing what they should.
- Wix posted about this, and they provide both the needed AJAX (end user) option and the HTML (google crawler option) properly.. here's their blog from 2015 addressing this (see #4) https://www.wix.com/blog/2015/04/myth-busting-10-interesting-facts-about-wix-seo/
- if you're using Wix.com... or other website builder tools... make sure to submit your sitemap to the Google Search Console, this should also help.

Here's some help from Google regarding, "making ajax applications crawlable"
https://developers.google.com/webmasters/ajax-crawling/docs/learn-more -
Erin is there an ETA on when the Moz crawler might be able to handle ajax sites as Google does (https://developers.google.com/webmasters/ajax-crawling/docs/specification)?

Hi there!
Thanks for reaching out! My name is Erin, and I'm on the Moz Help Team. Thanks for jumping in Fredrik and LinkAssistant! Fredrik is correct, our tool has a hard time getting through any AJAX, which is why we're not picking up your keyword.
If you have any other questions, feel free to shoot us an email at help@moz.com!
Cheers,
Erin

1. You're right - MOZ tools cannot handle your pages correctly, most probably because of AJAX.
2. Google can see your page and does see it (to some extent) - go check https://www.google.com/search?q=%22Your+Employee+Handbook+Is+Your+First+Defense%22 to make sure it can see your headings and somr text including the keywords you specified. On the other hand, go check Google's cache to see it can see only a part of the content you've got on that page: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:www.cestoday.com/%23!employee-handook/co0h, which most probably means you'll have to move from WIX (which you're using right now if I'm not mistaken) to some other website engine as this one is definitely not the best one for SEO.

Hi
I got good news and I got bad news for you:
Good news: your not nuts. The text is visually there.
Bad news: the text is actually not in the original source code since its loaded with AJAX.An easy way to check this is to do a view source on the page. Dependent on browser the function is in different places but in Google Chrome its under View -> Developer -> View source. When your seeing the source code try to do a search and you see that the word "handbook" is not there.
So what does this mean: 1. It means that the moz tool can not handle this AJAX way of making the page. 2. It could also mean that Google can not index the site.
Good look forward
Fredrik

Standard Syntax in robots.txt doesn't prevent Moz bot from crawling
A client is getting many false positive site crawl errors for things like duplicate titles and duplicate content on pages that include /tag/ in the URL. An example is https://needquest.com/place_tag/autism-spectrum-disorder/page/4/ To resolve this we have set up a disallow statement in the robots.txt file that says

Disallow: /page/ For some reason this appears not to work, as the site crawl errors continue to list pages like this. Does anyone understand why that would be and what we need to do to properly disallow crawling these pages?0 -
Moz not recognising url to setup a new account
I am attempting to setup a new account for my client but Moz is having a problem and not registering the url http://www.esc.uk.net/. I get the "oops" message & read the info on the FAQ page it refers to. Why do I keep getting an "Oops" message when I type and submit my campaign URL? To create a campaign, we need to receive a valid HTTP response from the web server hosting your site. While the site may be accessible from a standard web browser, other user-agents and search engine bots may receive a different response. If you receive this error, we recommend running a test by sending an HTTP response using any online HTTP tool. Using an online HTTP tool I believe I received an HTTP response. What else can I do? Regards Terry

My campaign hasn't updated since wk of Sept 18-24
Even though it shows it should run weekly the campaign appears to be stuck. Also, it seems like campaign frequency should be a variable under campaign settings, but isn't. Is there a way to manually run the campaign to add the data?

Can't add a 2nd campaign o_O
Hi there, Here is the thing.. I have an e-commerce website selling in Canada and USA. I created 2 different directories to get my website translated in both English and French. My first campaign is basically the English version of my website: https://www.nwseatcovers.com/en. I've configured the campaign with G.A, Social Media, targeted keywords etc... Now I'd like to create a 2nd campaign targeting my French version: https://www.nwseatcovers.com/fr. The only problem here is that it won't let me go through the whole "Add a Campaign" process. I've been able to access the "BASICS" tab where you have to enter the company name, website link and campaign name. However it doesn't allow me to go to the next step. As soon as I press the "Next" button, here is the message I have: "We have already started building this campaign. If you entered the wrong URL and would like to track a different site, please create a new campaign." When I created my very first campaign, I didn't have to wait, the campaign was available almost immediately. Does this message mean that it requires couple of hours/days to create my 2nd campaign? Thank you for your help.

Can't create a brand query?
When I try to create a brand query, clicking the 'preview query' button doesn't do anything. Anyone else have this happening to them? It would be my first brand query if that matters.

How does MOZ assign a keyword to a page in the On Page Grades by Keyword Ranking
I'm in the beta analytics tool. In the On Page Optimization > On Page Grades by Keyword section, there is a Keyword column with a keyword assigned to each URL on my site. http://analytics.moz.com/search/on-page/572409.326269 How is the keyword that is shown here decieed upon? Is it simply based on a guess of the "best keyword" for each page based on kwp density and other factors? Can I map a new keyword to each page? or at least to my top ten most important pages? I see I can check the grade for any keyword on any page here: http://analytics.moz.com/search/manage-page-grades/572409.326269. I want to map my top ten pages to ten keywords - can I save these changes in the system so I don't have to manually check a keyword/url match each time? Shaun
