Is it worth putting images in your sitemap?

I am always trying to optimize our website and have came across adding images to the sitemap. Has anyone done this? Did it make a big difference?

Hi,
If you have a lot of images and you need to speed up the indexing process then yes, it's worth adding an image xml sitemap.
It also helps with the " image index managmenet" of those files.

Beside this though - there is no advantage - I mean you won't get any rankings boosts or anything like that.

Is it worth keeping a decades-old domain that's merely 301 redirecting to the main domain?
Hi fellow Moz SEOs, We have a bigger client who we just did an SEO Site Audit for, and it was discovered that they have several domain names that are simply 301 redirecting to their main domain name. One of their domains in particular is decades old, and the client is asking if there is any value in keeping it (and the others), or simply leaving them as-is. Can we put long-tail keywords at footer menu and create landing pages for same?
When we cannot rank for multiple keywords; can we try creating landing pages for some long-tail keywords and put all such landing pages at footer menu to rank for search queries? Will this helps and sound spammy to Google?

Best sitemap generator that can automatically create and submit
I like screamingfrog but they don't automatically generate and submit to google. We use xml-sitemaps.org but they don't have all the functions and they crawl slow too. Can you recommend some good sitemap generator that is fast, with features and can automatically create and submit? Is inspyder good?

Duplicate Content Errors new website. How do you know which page to put the rel canonical tag on?
I am having problems with duplicate content. This is a new website and all the pages have the same page and domain rank, the following is an example of the homepage. How do you know which page to use the canonical tag on? http://medresourcesupply.com/index.php http://medresourcesupply.com/ Would this be the correct way to use this? Here is another example where Moz says these are duplicates. Editing A Sitemap
Would there be any positive effect from editing a site map down to a more curated list of pages that perform, or that we hope they begin to perform, in organic search? A site I work with has a sitemap with about 20,000 pages that is automatically created out of a Drupal plugin. Of those pages, only about 10% really produce out of search. There are old sections of the site that are thin, obsolete, discontinued and/or noindexed that are still on the sitemap. For instance, would it focus Google's crawl budget more efficiently or have some other effect? Your thoughts? Thanks! Best... Darcy

International Sitemaps
Hey Dudes, Quick question about international sitemaps. Basically we have a mix of subfolders, subdirectories, and ccTLDs for our different international/language sites. With this in mind how do you recommend we set up the site map. I'm thinking the best solution would be to move the subfolders and subdirectories onto an index and put the ccTLD site maps on their own root only. domain.ca/sitemap (This would only contain the Canada pages) domain.com, fr.domain.com, domain.com/eu/ (These pages would all have an index on domain.com/sitemap that points to each language/nations index) OR Should all site have a site map under their area. domain.com/sitemap, fr.domain.com/sitemap, domain.com/eu/sitemap, domain.ca/sitemap? I'm very new to international SEO. I know that our current structure probably isn't ideal... but it's what I've inherited. I just want to make sure I get a good foundation going here. So any tips are much appreciated!
