High DA, PA and A grade at page level not ranking in SERP - why?
-
I ran a full keyword ranking report against my competitors. My site clearly tops all KPIs with highest DA, PA, mT/mR etc. My page also get's an A for page otimisation, but is ranking lower than sites with an F. There have been no manual actions and I am at a loss to explain why the page isn't ranking. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers

Hi, I sent you a PM last week. Did you receive it?

High DA, PA and A grade at page level not ranking in SERP - why?
The most common reason is a Panda, Penguin or some other problem.. or you are looking at local search where these metrics don't work well.
-
Is it the "Mind Body Spirit" site? I wont mention the domain incase your keeping it secret?
If so the homepage has very little content and there is no internal linking on all the huge amounts of content you have. Also I took some snippets of some articles and found that content was indexed on another site which ranked above you and is dated a year older than your content. This would be a serious issue of content duplication. This would give the overall quality of your site a Panda Issue and cause you to rank poorly.
Excuse me if I have found the wrong site, happy to help if you post the url or msg me privately.

It's odd you'd be getting good DA etc. numbers yet ranking poorly.
I'd recommend taking a look at the 2014 ranking factors report Moz puts out, and start going down the list of items outside of what you listed.
Site speed is a major one.
Something or many things may pop out. I'd personally also check to make sure all your pages are getting crawled correctly. It sounds like they are being crawled because your website does show up in the SERPs, but perhaps there are some broken redirects or something that is causing you not to get the full value of the website you've built.

You see Google Algorithms are not simple at all. There are around 500+ signals that Google consider in order to rank a website in search engines. You might have a better DA and PA you have be doing a better on-page optimization but there are always other factors like:
- Page load time
- Quality of links in the link profile
- Content on the website
- Tactics used to get links
And more…
I believe the best idea is not to compare but compete. Get your content redone, get more quality natural links and more.
I am actually trying to give you a quick idea of how big Google’s canvas is!
Just my 2 cents!!

SEO impact of redirecting high ranking mirror site to the main website
During SEO audit for a client I noticed that they had over a dozen duplicate websites that are carbon copies of the main website. This was done via CMS platform and DNS. One of the mirror sites has about 400 indexed pages and has Moz DA of 42 and 137k External Equity-Passing Links. Full metrics comparison is attached. I originally planned on doing rel="canonical" on the mirror site but the CMS vendor never even heard of it and is refusing to implement it in the header. My only other option is doing one to one 301 redirects. Since the mirror site ranks well, even competes with main domain for some positions on the 1st page of SERP, what will be the impact after the redirects? Is doing 301's still the best option? Thanks! Codeigniter - Controller and duplicate pages
Hi there, I use Codeigniter as framework and I have a question about the duplicate page. Actually, for default, the typical page in a CodeIgniter framework is something like this: http://www.domain.com/site/contact where site is the controller containing the contact function that point to the contact.html view... To have a better URL I use a trick with the "routes" that redirect any http://www.domain.com/contact to the original http://www.domain.com/site/contact Of course the both are valid and the both are... crawled! So I get the duplicate page. Is this something I have to manage, maybe with .htaccess? Any idea would be very appreciated. Thanks for you precious time guys! Shella

Page Authority is the same on every page of my site
I'm analyzing a site and the page authority is the exact same for every page in the site. How can this be since the page authority is supposed to be unique to each page?

On Page Analysis and Grading
I am new here and happy to be! My site is an ecommerce site with hundreds of products. I have set up campaigns to track specific products. For the on page analysis where SEOMOZ gives you a grade I have 2 urls showing. But 1 of the urls is getting an A, and 1 is getting a F. But they are the same url and obviously go to the same page. Any help would be appreciated!

Redirecting duplicate .asp pages??
Hi all, I have a bit of a problem with duplicate content on our website. The CMS has been creating identical duplicate pages depending on which menu route a user takes to get to a product (i.e. via the side menu button or the top menu bar). Anyway, the web design company we use are sorting it out going forward, and creating 301 redirects on the duplicate pages. My question is, some of the duplicates take two different forms. E.g. for the home page: www.<my domain="">.co.uk

www..<my domain="">.co.uk/index.html
www.<my domain="">.co.uk/index.asp</my></my></my> Now I understand the 'index.html' page should be redirected, but does the 'index.asp' need to be directed also? What makes this more confusing is when I run the SEOMoz diagnostics report (which brought my attention to the duplicate content issue in the first place - thanks SEOMoz), not all the .asp pages are identified as duplicates. For example, the above 'index.asp' page is identified as a duplicate, but 'contact-us.asp' is not highlighted as a duplicate to 'contact-us.html'? I'm a bit new to all this (I'm not a IT specialist), so any clarification anyone can give would be appreciated. Thanks, Gareth0 -
Duplicate page content reports duplicates, but pages don't show duplication
My duplicate page reports shows 376 pages with duplicate content. After reviewing the pages the report claims have duplicate content, i can't find duplications. could this be an error, or is there some source code that doesn't display that could be causing this issue?
