Is there a way to track mobile rankings vs desktop rankings in Moz?
-
With the new release of Google's mobile algorithm we want to start tracking keywords mobile vs desktop. Any suggestions?
-
I have done that for my mobile domain, m.ramjet.com, and i am seeing the same stats as I have on my desktop version. Any suggestions?

A product release update was just posted over here:

The way that I tracked mobile performance (before my site became responsive) was in GWT. If you go to Search Traffic > Search Queries, at the top of the page select filters, Search > Mobile. This will give you a pretty broad scope of where some of your key terms fall. Here is what you should see.

Jared - so sorry for the delay here! Essentially with Moz we don't separate any data out within a specific campaign but that's not to say you can't do so. For example say you have a website domain.com. if users are redirected to a domain.com/mobile or mobile.domain.com you can set these up as different campaigns so that you can track them separately. If the website is a responsive domain and all of it lives under domain.com and adjusts to the screen size Moz will not be able to track it separately.

James can you elaborate a bit on your answer?
-
Right now we do not have a dedicated workflow for mobile vs. desktop pages however if they are contained in their own sub folder or sub domain you can set up a campaign used Advanced Features in the campaign setup.
-
At the moment a few workflows can include addressing any errors in "Mobile Usability" in GWT under Search Traffic; looking at landing page performance under Audience >> Mobile >> Landing Page as a secondary dimension and comparing that to results in desktop; and parsing out mobile visits with secondary dimension as source / medium (looking at google / organic)...
Not very exacting, but you should be able to get an idea pretty quickly of whether or not mobile is performing drastically different than desktop percentage-wise.

How non-US Moz customers will use Keyword Explorer after the Keyword Difficulty tool is retired?
The new Moz Keyword Explorer looks good but its search volume is US based and completely useless for non-US websites. This is from Rand's post: "while the tool can search any Google domain in any country, the volume numbers will always be for US-volume. In the future, we hope to add volume data for other geos as well." In the Keyword Difficulty tool, Moz shows Google search volume data, which is similar to what I see in the Google Keyword Planner and Google Search Console. For example, keyword X in the Australian search market has 6-7k searches in the Google Keyword Planner and 8k searches in Moz. The very same keyword has 118k-300k search volume in the new Keyword Explorer! Obviously this new search volume is not useful in the Australian market. I often used the Keyword Difficulty tool to identify new keyword opportunities but what can I do to complete the same tasks after they retire the tool?

Has MOZ stopped including Text to Code Ratio?
My Moz extension no longer displays text to code ratio. Anyone else encounter this or know why it's gone? I see it in videos and descriptions and I used to see it in my extension, but it is no longer there.

Using Moz to find blogger with good PR.
Hi, My manager has recently informed me that you can use Moz in order to find blogger by category and their page rank. Is this possible? The reason for this is because we are looking for blogger with a good page rank and who are relevant to our sector, which is days out, outdoor activities, zipwires, adventure etc. We then want to contact them to see if we can invite them to write about our Tree Top Adventure and zip trekking activities. Any help would be much appreciated.

Why does Moz Analytics drop my Google Analytics connection every time I login?
I get the following message every time I check the Moz Analytics dashboard on any of the sites I manage. It seems like a bug in the system. Does anyone know how to fix it? "We lost connection with your Google Analytics account. Don't worry — you won't lose any data. Please reauthorize now."

Beta Moz is losing my campaigns.
I've been trying to make the transition to Beta especially now that Pro has such serious problems with the style sheet. The thing is, all of the campaigns I have added to the Pro side don't show up in the Beta side. They'll show in Pro but that's all but unusable on my end and there's no Archive button visible on Beta. I tried adding a campaign again to Beta thinking it just isn't there, but it tells me it's already been added. Well then were is it? I just added them earlier today! I can see them on Pro but nowhere on Beta, nor the other 3 I have added on Pro in the last 2 weeks.

Crawl Diagnostics: Exlude known errors and others that have been detected by mistake? New moz analytics feature?
I'm curious if the new moz analytics will have the feature (filter) to exclude known errors from the crwal diagnostics. For example, the attached screenshot shows the URL as 404 Error, but it works fine: http://en.steag.com.br/references/owners-engineering-services-gas-treatment-ogx.php To maintain a better overview which errors can't be solved (so I just would like to mark them as "don't take this URL into account...") I will not try to fix them again next time. On the other hand I have hundreds of errors generated by forums or by the cms that I can not resolve on my own. Also these kind of crawl errors I would like to filter away and categorize like "errors to see later with a specialist". Will this come with the new moz analytics? Anyway is there a list that shows which new features will still be implemented? knPGBZA.png?1
