I can't add a new listing to Moz Local
-
Hi,
Ive been trying to add new listings for two clients to Moz Local for four days now. They each have their own login, so I don't believe it is an account issue. I have rebooted, tried different browsers, cleared cache, and even tried a different computer, all to no avail.
Here's what happens... I login and click on Add Listing. I search for the business, select the best result and then I just get a bouncing map pin. It never goes any further.

Thank you. I heard from Moz support a while ago that it isn't just me; they have multiple accounts with this issue. Now that I know that, I'll just wait for a fix. Thanks!

Hey Richard - we are currently not blocking any IPs from purchase - if you are still seeing issues shoot a note over to help@moz.com

Hi there
I can currently go through the whole process of adding a location. I doubt they are blocking your IP as I am signed in to two accounts at my work computer and home computer currently.
I would reach out and check in to get their opinion because beyond the blocking and the steps you took, that's the only plan of action I can think of!

Thank you Patrick. I don't believe there is any script blocking going on. I have tried it in FF and Chrome, and have never had this problem before. I set up Moz Local for all my local SEO clients, so I've done it plenty of times with no issues before. I have sent in a support ticket but I just got a generic "our engineers are looking into it."
The only thing I can think of is that they could be blocking my IP address due to me logging in from multiple accounts from one computer. I always have the client set up their own account, enter their own payment info and then I add the listing. That way they retain control over it which works best for them since most of my local SEO projects are one-off cleanup work.
Can you get past the point where it is hanging up on me?

Hi there
This may be a problem beyond the Q+A - my Add Listing is working on fine. Did you check your browser settings in case you may potentially be blocking Javascript or any scripts?
You may want to reach out directly to Moz on the issue.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Unsolved How can I cancel my Local subscription?
I signed up for Moz Local with an annual subscription and I don't have a store front, so most of it is not relevant to me.

Moz local & Rich Data in bi-lingual markets
Hi, any of you have any experience with Moz local in bi-lingual markets? In Quebec, we deal with predominantly French marketplace with large pockets of English speaking communities. However, mostly all of the directories that Moz Local lists to are English. Some offer options to list rich-data in two languages but many don't. Here's the question, have nay of you use both languages when submitting using Moz local (or other similar services) successfully in that the directories that were only English still accepted your "other" languages? Thx.

Moz Local not finding Facebook page
I've got a listing on Moz Local - www.carolinasmilesnc.com. It finds most listings OK. When looking for other listing services where it locates a matching listing, it cannot seem to find the Facebook page. They have identical phone numbers as what we submitted (verified by Google) as well as the street address. We keyed in the Facebook link in the details of the listing for Moz Local. Moz Local only shows an option to create a page. How do I get it to connect to the existing and very robust Facebook page?

MozBar tool doesn't highlight follow/no follow, what does that mean?
We use the MozBar tool to easily check what links are follow or no-follow. However, when we entered in this URL: http://www.e-ir.info/2017/01/17/security-and-the-brexit-effect/ and we clicked on "edit" > "follow" within the MozBar tool in Google Chrome, if you scroll down to "Featured image courtesy of www.americanadvisorsgroup.com ", you'll noticed that the link doesn't show whether it's a follow or not. Can someone clarify if MozBar sees links with no indication of follow/no follow as a follow? We look at the URL itself and it doesn't have any indication of no follow. Would love to get someone's feedback on this.

Moz Local doesn't have Categories for my clients business
Moz Local doesn't have Categories for my clients business, for that matter neither does Google Business: Using the Moz category tool- and Superpages, where we have been listed for a long time, the following categories have no MOZ local or Google Equivalent. Millwright CRATES & CRATING INDUSTRIAL PACKING & CRATING CRANES, HOISTING, & RIGGING SERVICES MACHINERY MOVERS & ERECTORS EXPORT CONSULTANTS RIGGERS EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES this makes fitting into Local search very difficult at best. Since the Moving category is so crowded, and brings in 99 household moves to one legitimate industrial move or rigging jobs. So is it best just not to pay for Moz local? How do we get Moz Local and google to add these important industrial local categories?
