Does this setup meet the ratings rich snippet guidelines?
-
Hey everyone, I am setting up a few product landing pages and hope to be able to see the star ratings via the search engine. I attached a screenshot of the SCHEMA code included on the page and results from the testing tool.
On each landing page there are 3 reviews taken from the product page and the overall rating of the product. There are also 2 links directly to the product page. Google states that:
Make sure the reviews and ratings you mark up are readily available to users from the marked-up page. It should be immediately obvious to users that the page has review or ratings content.
Do you guys think the landing page set up I described above is sufficient to comply with google's guidelines?

Hi there
Don't forget you have Schema testing capabilities:
Structured Data Testing Tool
Structured data validatorSearch Console will also monitor your structured data markup and notify you of issues they find.
From my standpoint, this looks fine, but don't forget that you have opportunities around descriptions, offers, authors of the reviews, what they said, dates, etc. There's a lot you can do there. Inflow has a pretty interesting read around reviews and markup, with examples of other companies and how they do it, if you're ever interested. You can read there here.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

To me it sounds like you have done everything spot on so far. You are including relevant product reviews and they are easily viewable which is definately on the right lines..
I would also possibly look into putting the individual review snippet schema around your three product reviews to compliment your aggregate rating. See here for the Review Schema details
Overall it looks like it should work. However, adding the snippet does not guarantee it will be displayed, but you will give it every chance to do so..

How does Google select what ends up in the snippet before SERPs?
We rank on page 1 for some keywords. Pulling SEMRush reports, we discovered we were placed #1, and we thought it was out of the norm, then determined it was due to the snippet preview Google created before SERPS. Anyway to know how we can consistently be favored by Google to get the snippet preview? I've read up a structured data markup on schema could help. https://developers.google.com/structured-data/ All input is appreciated.

WordPress and Rich Snippets plugin creating 501 error
Good Morning MOZguru's, Right, so I've been trying to install the Google schema.org rich snippet plugin through Wordpress for a website, and after I activate it, the website does not load ( appears a blank page) or loads very very slooooowww. Also through the MOZBar, Http status section, after the plug in it's activated it shows a 501 error. I had this issues with another website I was working on, hosted by Godaddy, and fixed it by installing plugins through the control panel on go daddy and not through WordPress. However this website is not hosted on the same platform. Does anyone know what should I do in order for the plugin to work and not affect the website? Many thanks, Moncia

What is an acceptable bounce rate?
0% is of course the best case and 100% would be the worst case but what would is considered average. How do you address this subject with your clients?

Product Feed Contributing To Bounce Rate
We subscribe to a product feed and have been very pleased with the results. However, one of the unanticipated results is a trending increase in our site bounce rate. Should we be concerned about this 3-10% increase in bounce rate trend. It may go higher. Of all the factors that can contribute to bounce rate, one of the factors is that we have a lot of products on the site that cannot be shipped out of state or shipped at all. These products can only be delivered in-state or picked up at our store. The Analytics data suggests that feed products typically have a higher bounce rate, lower ctr, lower time on page, lower time on site etc. than products found by other means. However, the product feed generates sales. Should I take these products off the feed that have a high bounce rate and are not "shipable"? Although they may land on feed product, they may click through to a shipable product. Our feed provider says of the bounce rate is typically not something a lot of other merchants worry about. I'm not certain, but I'm inclined to disagree. What are your thoughts and experiences with this? Thanks for the help.

How to remove "Results 1 - 20 of 47" from Google SERP Snippet
We are trying to optimise our SERP snippet in Google to increase CTR, but we have this horrid "Results 1 - 20 of 47" in the description. We feel this gets in the way of the message and so wish to remove it, but how?? Any ideas apart from removing the paging from the page?
