Blogpost Authorship. Should we give credits or not?
-
We have been paying for getting the content written from writers. Is it a good move to give authorship to writers for writing the articles in terms of SEO. Some writers now have started to demand for authorship from the articles they have written. Should I give them authorship credits from each & every blog post they have written or it will be just a bad move to do so?
-
If they are professional writers and do excellent excellent work I might do it as a reward. Be strict with this.
Also, you need to review their Google+ profile to be sure that it does not contain content that is disagreeable for any of your visitors who might go there. Reserve the right to remove the link and be very clear about reserving that right.
This will require some administration work from you, and some traffic loss. So you got to be getting value from it. Overall, if it keeps content quality very high, I would not have a problem linking to a google+ page at the bottom of the article. I have done this. I have also linked to faculty members university page if they write an article for my site. They enjoy this and often link back to my site to share their article with others.

How about a link just to their Google+ profiles? No links or Google+ profiles link which one will be better?

If you have worthy authors who produce great content then giving them credit as a reward for excellent work will make them feel acknowledged. If their name is on their work and they are good people then they will work harder than if their name is not mentioned. Maybe if their name is on the article they will share that on their blog or on facebook. That can be helpful for you. Their parents might share it and say... "my son wrote this". That is good for you.
Putting the authors name on the page costs you nothing, however, it can make a huge difference in the mind of some authors. This has the potential to bring you better content.
Now, if those authors demand links to their websites and their friends' websites that will not be good. Your traffic will leave through those links. If those websites are not nice websites, now or in the future, then you might be linking to manipulative websites or bad websites which google does not like.
If they are writing low quality content and demand links, then they are trying to use you. Stop their employment.

Google cache from my website give another website
Hello, Some time ago, I already asked a question here because my homepage disappeared from Google for our main keyword. One of the problems that we showing up was the Google cache. If you look to the cache of the website www.conseilfleursdebach.fr, you see that it show the content of www.lesfleursdebach.be. It's both our website, but one is focus on France and the other one on Belgium. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache%3Awww.conseilfleursdebach.fr&oq=cach&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j0j69i60j0l2.1374j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Before, there were flags on the page to go to the other country, but in the meantime I removed all links from the .fr to the .be and opposite. This is ongoing since January. Who has an idea of what can cause this and most of all, what do do? Kind regards, Tine

Google authorship page versus posrt
I have a wordpress.com blog and have recently set up google authorship (at least I think I have). If I add a new post what happens to the old post in terms of authorship? Is the solution opening a new page for each article? If so does the contribution link in google+ pick up all pages if you only have home link? many thanks

Disappearing Authorship Pictures
I have a couple of established sites where the Authorship picture has suddenly disappeared and been gone for about a week now. Everything looks OK when I check, and the rich snippet tool displays the pictures when I check using that. I'm interested to see if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue.

Should you give all the posts in a Forum an unique description? Or let it empty so Google can make one with the crawled keywords .... ...
To make all descriptions for all forum posts unique is a hell of a job.... One option is to crawl the first 165 characters and turn these automaticly into the meta description of the page.

If Google thinks the meta description is not suitable for the search query, Google will make a own description. In this case all te meta descriptions are unique, like the Google Guidlines want you to do. How will Google think off the fact when we delete the meta description tag so Google will make all the descriptions by herself?0 -

Is it possible to Spoof Analytics to give false Unique Visitor Data for Site A to Site B
Hi, We are working as a middle man between our client (website A) and another website (website B) where, website B is going to host a section around websites A products etc. The deal is that Website A (our client) will pay Website B based on the number of unique visitors they send them. As the middle man we are in charge of monitoring the number of Unique visitors sent though and are going to do this by monitoring Website A's analytics account and checking the number of Unique visitors sent. The deal is worth quite a lot of money, and as the middle man we are responsible for making sure that no funny business goes on (IE false visitors etc). So to make sure we have things covered - What I would like to know is 1/. Is it actually possible to fool analytics into reporting falsely high unique visitors from Webpage A to Site B (And if so how could they do it). 2/. What could we do to spot any potential abuse (IE is there an easy way to spot that these are spoofed visitors). Many thanks in advance
