Closing Old Locations with Moz Local
-
I'm sure the answer is pretty simple, but how are we supposed to report an old location as closed in Moz Local? I'd like to mark an old address as closed in all of the major data providers. Of course, I can claim the new location, but I do I need to claim the old location and then somehow mark it closed?
When I do a search with Moz, it gives me five results for a doctor who has a single location now (I'm not posting the actual name because I just don't want this forum to appear for searches for the doctor):
-

Dr. Doctor Name, DMD Verified
Old Address
Current Phone
-

Doctor Name, DMD Verified
Current Address
Current Phone
-

**Periodontist, Doctor Name, DMD, PC **Verified
Current Address (Alternate City Name)
Current Phone
-

Doctor Name, DMD
Current Address (Alternate City Name)
Current Phone
-

Doctor Name
Old Address
Current Phone

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Tom

Hi Tom!
When you look at a Moz Local listing in the Check Listing tool, you can see a list of duplicate listings that pull up in the Duplicates tab. Here you can request removal of these duplicates, which would most likely include the older locations of your most recent listing.
Can you write into help@moz.com with your specific example so that we can take a look and figure out the best way for you to proceed? Thanks!
Kevin

Multiple Locations + Incomplete "Facebook" Listing
Hi! I am in charge of multiple listings for the same business because they have many offices throughout the US. Upon submitting these different locations on Moz Local, I have now run into an issue where all of the listings are not registering their correct Facebook page. On Facebook I have created separate pages for each location (using their location manager tool), but I am unsure on how to connect this to Moz. I have tried submitting the URL of the Facebook page in the "Advanced" tab in the "edit" area, but this does not seem to solve the problem. Any idea on why this is happening, and if there is an easy fix? Thanks everyone!

Moz Local showing wrong Acxiom Listing
Hey there -- The Acxiom listing that is showing up for a client in Moz Local isn't the clients business. It's showing a different law office. The only overlapping data is the city, state and zip code. For reference, the client has claimed their Acxiom business listing. Anything I can do to fix this? I can't even click on the listing from Moz.

Q: At what point in time should I submit a "corrected" NAP to MOZ Local in the process of cleaning up NAP in the directory ecosystem?
1- Can I submit a "corrected" NAP to Moz Local and trust that all the incorrect info in the entire directory ecosystem will get corrected? If the answer is yes, how long would this take? 2- Should I change the incorrect NAP listings in the "other" directories that MOZ doesn't have an agreement with, before I submit a "corrected" NAP to MOZ.? Thanks for the info:-)

Not able to validate my listings in Moz Local.
Hi Team, I have recently updated my location listings in Moz Local and I could not able to validate those listings & move it to "ready to publish" section. Also, I have all the listings that are perfect & verified in Google business but Moz Local could not retrieve my listings from Google and not allowing me to validate it. I have provided below the screenshot of the not validated listings from Moz Local dashboard. Please look in to it and provide me the solution as soon as possible. Thank you, WjWEcOh.png
