When I click on organic search, the biggest drop is on keyword "not provided". What does this mean?

I am trying to identify the reason for the drop in organic search.

Can only agree with what Peter is saying.
In addition to the resources mentioned by Gaston - there is also a very nice post on Moz blog on how to retrieve all the data from the Search Console (but you shouldn't be afraid of installing Python): https://moz.com/ugc/how-to-get-the-data-you-need-from-googles-search-analytics-api
Sorry for abusing the Moz q&a for some self promotion
If you have a sudden drop in traffic - don't forget to check if your tracking code is still present on all your pages (you could use Screaming Frog to do that - http://www.seerinteractive.com/blog/screaming-frog-to-verify-google-analytics/

As i explain you here:
https://moz.com/community/q/on-google-analytics-under-search-queries-the-most-popular-query-is-not-set-how-do-i-find-out-what-this-is
only reliable source for information is Search Console.BUT - data in SC is showed with few data behind. For example - today Jan 28 i see data up to Jan 24. So wait few days and you can see drop identified with pages, queries and type (web/image/video) and much more.
In GA you can switch primary dimension to "Landing page" (in same Organic Keywords section) and see is drop sitewide or for specific pages.
Also see changes in algorithms here:
https://moz.com/google-algorithm-change
and try to match algo changes with your traffic increasing or sudden drops. -
Hi,
The "not provided" is a metaphor that Google Analytics uses in order to not show some of the info.
There were some people (lots ) that said it was because of the privacy, other because of google didn't want you to know.Any way, the trick is to link thw Search Console (used to be WebMasters Tools) to the Google Analytics account. Remember that SC only shows data until 2 days ago.
Also, here you have some articles that might help you to understand:

Slow growth in organic traffic
Hi, Recently our website after 5 months of launch started seeing more organic traffic, thanks to the seo effort being put. However, off late the growth is quite slow and we don't see much increase in organic traffic any more. Any idea on what could have happened to cause this or is it normal. Here is the link to the website to check and if you can recommend anything - https://www.keyhub.com Thanks, Search-Console-Search-Analytics-https-www-keyhub-com-1.png

Drop in google.com / referral trafic
Hi, On one of our sites (after the release of a new version, including redirections), we've seen a drop in referral trafic from google.fr (france). I know that this trafic usually comes from Google Images but it doesnt seem to be the case this time. The referal path is "/" and not "imgres" as it usually is when it comes from google images. The search trafic hasnt dropped tough... The site is a job listing site. We also saw a drop from indeed.com, I guess their crawler got lost in our new site... Any idea on the possible google site it could come from? Thank you,

Local site rankings have dropped off first page but Universal went up.
My site was performing first page locally on 6 of 20 keywords, and universally on 3 of 20 keywords. We started a link building campaign and optimization about 3 weeks ago. When I looked at the rankings today I was happy to see that 16 of 20 keywords were in the top 20 rankings universally, but not happy to see that only 1 of the 25 words were ranking locally now. I lost my local ranking on 5 very important keywords. I realize that you can not rank first page for both local and organic but its as if I traded my first page local ranking for a universal ranking that appears lower on the page. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction.

Will PPC affect Organic?
Is anyone familiar with a relation between Google PPC and Organic? We started a PPC campaign recently and our organic results spiked up at the same time for phrases that we are bidding on.

Why is a section of our website dropping in&out of Google SERPs?
In July 2011 we started a news section that has it's own 'subfolder' /news/ (http://www.chorder.com/news/new_gear/, http://www.chorder.com/news/gear_deals/ etc.) The whole news section is dropping in&out of Google SERP's since late October, as show in attached graph. All news texts are real deal, written by our own staff, linked from homepage. Any idea why this happens and how to prevent it? cmqky.png

Organic bounce rate after site re-launch
3 months ago a client of mine re-launched theoir web site (after having a lot of work done on it). Since then, many of the SEO indications are good - more non-paid keywords sending search visits, more organic visits overall, more URLs receiving entrances via search, etc. The issue is that their bounce rate has been increasing pretty much EVERY week since. Has anyone seen a similar issue and what could a potential solution be for this? Thanks everyone!
