Change Keyword tracking from national to local
-
Hello
I read that now it's possible to change tracking of keywords from national to local? Is this correct as I can't seem to work out how to do it.
Thanks
Sam

Hey there!
You can indeed add local tracking to your keywords through your Moz campaign once it has been set up.Just pop over to the Add & Manage Keywords tab, and click the 'Add Keywords' tab here: http://screencast.com/t/xwESEFqi
You can add new keywords and click "Track Locally" to do just that.Or you can add a geolocation tracking option to your existing keywords. Just click “from your existing list”. This is what it looks like: http://screencast.com/t/uKuZ9WOZr
You can read more about the keyword rankings tab here: https://moz.com/help/guides/moz-pro-overview/keyword-rankings/add-and-manage-keywords
If anything is unclear please do let me know
Cheers!
Jo

Hi Sam
I think you have two options:
1. Add the keywords again with the local settings and apply a label too, so you will be able to pull national and local ranking reports. These will double your Moz campaign's keyword usage.
2. Delete the national keywords from the campaign and add them again with the local settings. This will reset your keyword ranking history, though.

Filer Keyword Suggestions By Difficulty Score
When I use the keyword tool, I'd like to be able to set the suggestions list to only show keywords below a certain a level of difficulty score. I know that I can click on a word to see it's difficulty score but that process is tedious. It doesn't seem like there is a direct way to do this. Has anyone developed an efficient indirect process for this? Has MOZ given any thought to including a filter for Difficulty score similar to the filter available for monthly volume?

Hi, I'm using the Moz keyword explorer to know which keywords Google is ranking my website. It says my website is ranked just for 7 words which I find very estrange... Any idea? If I use the google AdWords keyword explorer I get a lot more of keywords for my site. Which one should I trust to improve my seo? Thanks, Regards

Feature request for Keyword Explorer
I posted this suggestion as a comment to a recent Moz blog post, but I thought I would add it here as well. I'm really digging the new Venn diagram view in Keyword Explorer and the ability to easily switch between various combinations of competitors. One feature that would be REALLY helpful (in addition to expanding to other countries) would be the ability to filter the keyword lists by specific strings. An obvious use case for that would be to filter out brand names -- I want to see how the comparisons look with non-branded keywords only. Another use case: Let's say I and my competitors have multiple product categories in common. It would be helpful if I could filter on some of the major head terms representing each of those product categories separately.

Is there an API to download keyword data?
Howdy fellow Mozzers, We're tracking a client's keyword rankings in one of our campaigns and want to export that data on a regular basis to display in Tableau. Tableau let's us quickly match up different data sources and create visuals with the data. It's useful for marrying different data sources that don't normally talk to each other. We know we can pull keyword tracking data manually, but we're hoping there's an API or scheduler that we can use to download the data automatically. Automating the process would be super helpful. Thank you!

Keyword opportunity & Google flights
I am currently giving keyword advise for an airline company. Since they have huge competition from sponsored 'Google Flights', I was really happy with the 'Keyword Opportunity'-metrics in the Keyword Explorer. However, Google flights does not seem to be consistently taken into account for the Keyword Opportunity score. Eg. 'Place A to Place B' gets a low opportunity score (50-60), which makes sense, because there are four Adwords ads + a huge 'Google flights' box above the classic 10 blue links. However 'Flight from Place A to Place B' gets a score of 90-100. If I check the last query, there is the same 4 Adwords ads, and also the Google Flights box. The Opportunity score seems completely unreliable here?

What tool will check my keyword rank alongside search volume for that keyword?
Hello Moz Community, I'm wondering if there is a tool (or a function with Moz Pro) that will check my keyword rank alongside search volume for that keyword. I'm able to see my keyword rankings in Moz Pro, but can't see search volume for those keywords. I'd love to prioritize which lower-ranking keywords should be improved based on their search volume. Any ideas? Thanks! Robert

Way to track public's use of keywords over time in MOZ?
I apologize for the basic question but is there a way to track within MOZ the public's use of my keywords over time? My traffic understandably goes down certain times of the year -- holidays, vacation season, back to school, etc. What I want to see is whether my share of the traffic available is staying steady, slipping or even increasing. Sometimes I'll see a big spike in traffic that I suspect is related more to a general increase in traffic in my keywords than anything else. Thanks for any help.
