Most efficiënt way to retrieve search volume for thousands of keyword
-
Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how I can efficiently get search volumes for large quantities of keywords. Unfortunately Keyword Planner has reduced their limit of keywords:
"You entered too many keywords. Please limit the number of keywords to 1,000. You can also upload a file with up to 800 keywords."Weirdly, the file upload's limit is now even lower than the normal limit. A 1000 keywords a time will be a real chore when you want to retrieve search volume for 50.000 keywords. I tried SEMrush, but it does not suffice due to the fact that a lot of keywords in my language (Dutch) are not in the database. I also looked into the Adwords API, but this does not yet seem to have any implementation in Google sheets?
Ideas are welcome!

Thanks for you answers, I'll definitely be checking out Grepwords. I also want to look into the Adwords API in combination with excel, because these does seem to have an implementation, although I can hardly find any clear information on this. I just want to be able to paste a list of keywords and retrieve the search volumes for my country automatically.

Yup - agree that Grepwords is the way to go here. http://grepwords.com/
Keyword Explorer supports only up to 500 keywords uploaded in a single list (and the keyword data is only for the US right now). Going piece by piece through AdWords is probably the only other path to take.

Grepwords. Simple API, though poorly documented. Believe Moz products use it as a source too.

G's Keyword Planner - 800 kw limit on search volume results?
I'm trying to use Google's Keyword Planner to pull the search volume for a large list of keywords (2000+). While you're able to upload a CSV of up to 3000 keywords, the search volume search only returns a maximum of 800 keywords per query, which is an issue as I have no idea which keywords it's cutting out. Is there any way around this? I have looked around online, but haven't been able to find a solid solution. Thanks in advance!

How to estimate search volume for multiple long tail queries?
I am comparing Moz, WordTracker and Google keyword research tools and trying to figure out how I can compare the aggregated search volume for a page which targets several similar long-tail queries. For instance, according to one tool, the query 'printable guitar sheet music' has 125 monthly searches, but many small variations of this also have a similar amount. Do I just make a reasonable list and calculate them? Or do I just use "125" as an abstract number of measurement with no concrete reference to a **real **number of searchers, but useful in comparing one keyword to the next, and assume that all key words have a similar degree of consorting variations? I seem to remember Google used to give away some pretty damned useful information in the keyword search tool, including monthly search volume. But now it looks like the metric is not actual search volume, but a 1-100 score based on the search volume. So my questions are: Should I try to convert these numbers into real search figure estimates or just use them for comparing one to the next? Should I worry about trying to combine the aggregated variations of long tail keyword searches, or should I just choose one good keyword and let that represent all possible variations?

Keyword every blog post?
Hi Should I be looking to keyword every blog post I write? Obviously the point in a blog for most of us is to draw in traffic so should I keyword research every blog post and use that as keyword? What if there is no keyword stats for the blog im writing? I guess I just use a keyword I make up anyway and hope people type it? Thanks Chris

Is the Adwords keywords planner accurate ?
Hey guyz,
Keyword Research | | atakala
As you guyz do, I base all my seo effort into the keywords' traffic and quality which I can get from Adwords Keywords Planner.
But this post has confused my mind .
It' says the average searches doesn't exactly the average searches.
And everything is okay here now I can say that of course it's not %100 accurate.
But the shocking part is he gives an example of how a big gap there is between real searches number and adwords keywords planner tools give us . What do you think guyz?
Can it be true ?
(And also last time I asked a question, Randy has replied me, If possible please Randy do it again :D.)

i am trying to figure out what would be good keywords to optimize for an orthodontist. i looked up the keywords "his city + orthodontist" or " his city + braces" and the google adword tool tells me there are no monthly searches for those terms. i am not sure what i can optimize for if no one is searching for the most obvious keywords.

Google Webmaster Keyword Significance.
In my google webmaster tools the most significant keyword google attaches to my site is word 'VAT' as in, Value Added Tax. Followed by Basket. I can see why this is, as the word VAT and Basket is on every product page, but it really is not a keyword I want to target. Does this have any negative effect on other keywords I am targeting? What should I do about this? Here is the site: https://www.loveelectronics.co.uk
