Intermediate Adwords Course

I've got a decent understanding of Adwords however want to now take it to another level.
Is there a course anyone can recommend that enables me to understand Adwords thoroughly to an expert level? I would classify myself as an intermediate at this point with a good foundational understanding, but far short of comprehensive. I'm looking for a video course and allow me to understanding everything to a deep level and how to execute strategies that can be effective.

Can I ask you the same question but for Facebook advertising? I'm looking to also improve my knowledge of Facebook Advertising. At this point, I have a solid grasp of the basics, but want to have a comprehensive understanding of the deeper and more complicated areas to run an effective Facebook strategy, particularly when it comes to advertising.

I have studied Adwords a lot and the best that I have found is Brad Geddes. He is the author of Advanced Google Adwords and a Google Adwords Certified Trainer. He runs a few training sessions per year. I've read his book twice and attended his seminars twice. Why twice? It took twice for me to really understand the math.
If you want to really know adwords the approach has to be mathematical, doing calculations with your profit margins, bid levels, conversion rates, etc. If you are not doing these calculations you can be losing your shirt and not knowing it. So his approach is mathematical, using spreadsheets. A lot of people attend, thinking this will be a sip coffee and fart seminar and don't realize that they will have to do math and think really hard. Just warning anyone who is attending for the coffee and donuts
Overall, the course is excellent and he is a great teacher, willing to answer every single question, and makes himself available during breaks, lunch and at the end of the course. I did the two day course and every minute was worth it.

Broad Match Modifier - Adwords Experts
Hi All, Looking for a little feedback from anyone running/managing ppc campaigns. I'm trying to decide if Broad Match Modifier search terms are actually helping. I see many instances where they have a low quality score, high cpc and low CTR. This leads to me think that these terms are actually bringing all my other ads down due to these negative signs. I have most search terms as "Phrase Match" and [Exact Match] so i'm not sure why i need the Broad Match + Modifier terms as well. Looking for some advice from the experts ... Do you guys agree with my assessment and what is your overall opinion on the usefulness of Broad Match Modifier terms. Thanks

AdWords quality score of landing pages and subdomains popularity
Hello, I have an AdWords account whose landing pages point to (i.e.) http://www.domain.com/landing01.php I've been using this account for ages, it has a good score and history, so I want to keep it. The first question is: may I use landing pages on different subdomains within the same AdWords account (and in the same root domain)? I.E. (http://cheese.domain.com/landing01.php and http://wine.domain.com/landing02.php) 2nd question: the www subdomain has good subdomain metrics (authority /trust and, generally, links) while the "cheese" subdomain has not (no backlinks at all). Do I get any benefit in Adwords (like quality score or other) if I publish my landing pages under a subdomain with better subdomain metrics (or number of links)? Or should I just go with http://cheese.domain.com even it has no authority at all? Thank you, DoMiSoL Rossini

How to manage AdWords accounts for two business units
Hello! I need some insight with a problem I'm struggling with. First, some background... Our company has two business units: (1) our dental practice and (2) our insurance business. In 2013, we started using AdWords to promote our insurance business. In 2013, we also used an agency to manage our SEM efforts for the dental practice. In 2014, we plan to bring our dental practice SEM campaign in-house and manage both AdWords account internally. That leads to my question... Is it possible with the one AdWords login that we've used for our insurance business to add a second, completely separate account? And by completely separate, I mean separate reporting, separate Campaigns tab, etc. If it's not possible, whats a guy to do? Set up a completely separate AdWords account with a different email address and login? Any insights from those who have managed a similar situation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Google Adwords Conversion Tracking - Recording Wrong Page
Hi Guys I have a problem with my Google Adwords conversion tracking. Basically whenever I check to see which page it is recording, it shows me the incorrect one. Now I probably checked a thousand time now and the conversion tracking code is not on this specific page, but is on the one that I really want to track. I have also checked that the code is correct and that there is nothing missing. But strangely enough when I look at historical data, it does show that is was tracking conversions on the correct page, but for some reason the past couple of weeks it's reporting conversions from another page, which is the incorrect one. If somebody could please give me some insight as to what could maybe be the cause of this, I would appreciate it. Thank You Dave

Downtrodden Adwords Quality Scores -- Really?
Wow! 93% of our Adword keywords in our new campaign received a Quality Score of 4 or less. That means most of the keywords aren't showing. I received the quick answer from our Adwords advisor that, "Quality score is created from a variety of factors ... etc." Yes, I know that by reading Google's documentation. I dug deeper into the data. When I looked at keywords dashboard for this campaign, what vexes me is that it's all about "Keyword relevance: poor". That is repeated time and again in the keywords hover, bubble pop-up in Adwords. "Landing page quality: no problems". "Landing page load time: no problems". 63% of keywords have quality score = 3 29% of keywords have quality score = 4 We have thousands of keywords that are electronic part numbers. All keywords use phrase matching. We use dynamic keyword matching in the ads. I dug deeper. I chose random keywords (and corresponding landing pages) from lower quality scores (1,2,3,4) and higher scores (5,6,7,8,9,10). What is the difference? Examples: Quality score 1 = http://www.usbid.com/parts/LM2901 2 = http://www.usbid.com/parts/BZX84-A20 3 = http://www.usbid.com/parts/MAX4796 4 = http://www.usbid.com/parts/TMP302A 5 = http://www.usbid.com/parts/LTC4267-3 6 = http://www.usbid.com/parts/CAT1161LI-28-G 7 = http://www.usbid.com/parts/DS1216C 8 = http://www.usbid.com/parts/R10S-E1Y1-J5.0K 9 = http://www.usbid.com/parts/208M822-19B11 145785-000 10 = http://www.usbid.com/parts/TP3-PNEU-0.250 243362-000 Notice URLs with score 9 and 10 have url-encoded space (%20) -- just pointing it out. What is the difference between these pages that have such different quality score? And, interestingly enough, the majority of example keywords in the Urls above (LM2901, BZX84-A20, etc) have zero impressions and zero clicks thus far. Yes, the keywords have low traffic because this is exactly what people search for an purchase when making a B2B component buy.
