Regarding the SPAM Score
-
Hi Guy's
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong . I recreated my whole new website , Disavow the links , Created the landscape.pages , Put the fresh content . Still working on fresh blog. Fetch the fresh index through google webmaster. Working on couple of errors .
Created high pr links .
Run the Ppc keywords
Did strong social media marketing .
I notice my DA and PA got increased , However my spam score is still same .
My niche is www.shinedental.net. There are some website who showed up in top research of google their spam score is 7 .
I'm not sure , if the moz database update every month or when we crawl the website . I delete the campaign and re-run it.

As Samantha mentioned, the Spam Analysis tool is not a 100% accurate tool, it's more of a 'helping tool'. With the tool its best use is to get some ideas on what poor links are pointing towards your site. Even then you need to take the results with a grain of salt. The tool may give you a spam score that is not entirely accurate, you need to examine the links and make sure it is actually spammy. You'll also notice that the tool doesn't pull all the back links to your site. Moz doesn't have the capability that Google does to crawl that much quantity. To get a complete list of your links go into Google Search Console.
If you're seeing your rankings and domain authority increasing this is a good sign Google noticed your disavow.
Hope this helps.

Hey! Samantha from Moz’s Help Team here!
To be fully transparent, our Spam Score metrics haven't been updated in some time, so they're not fully current. If you've made progress towards reducing the links from spammy sites going to your site in recent weeks and months, this likely will not be reflected in Open Site Explorer until our Spam Scores update. (Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA on when that will be - sorry about that!).
So, it's entirely possible that Google is no longer penalizing these sites and that they're not considered spammy by Google any longer. I know that makes our Spam Analysis tool not super helpful, since it isn't up to date, but I hope this helps to explain why you're still seeing those spam scores.
As always, you can reach out to our team directly by sending an email to help@moz.com but I hope this helps!

If I migrate to a new domain, does my Domain Authority score get migrated also?
For business reasons, I migrated my domain with a DA score of 85 to a new domain. After some time, the DA score on the new domain is only 45. My migration plan and redirects went smooth and all redirected with best practices in mind. I am still ranking well for almost all of the keywords where I've 301 redirected old URL to new. Any feedback welcome!

How long does it take to turn around a 10/17 SPAM score domain?
Hi - Looking at acquiring a domain name that has a great product fit. The problem is it is currently getting a 10/17 Open Site Explorer SPAM score. The existing site for the domain is running Google sponsored link ads and is full of internal pages that link off to these ads. That explains the existing SPAM score. If I acquire the domain I'll throw out the Google ad pages and build instead a site with real valuable content that behaves like a normal site and look at building backlinks etc. My question is, following this approach, how long is it likely to take Google to not see the domain as some Spam factory so it starts getting well positioned SERPs?

Why such bad scores?
Hi all, I'm a bit frustrated because in open site explorer, my site is appearing with the worst possible scores for everything. (see attch.) However, about 2 months ago I published my site onto a bunch of places using the Yext service. I also manually created 50+ additional links and citations as well as accounts on all the major social media sites. So, how come I get such bad scores and even a big fat zero on inbound links? Thanks! bYCpm

Just Discovered links - How long before they are counted toward the PA scores
I have a new website I put up in the last 90 days. I have been watching the DA, PA and Keyword rankings. Once I set up the campaign I got a report back a week later and some data showing some keyword rankings and some DA & PA scores and links showing from 2 domains. Since this time OSE has Just Discovered 16 more backlinking domains - however the DA and PA scores have not changed ? How long after the new Just Discovered backlinks before they affect the scores I am seeing for my DA & PA ? Thank you in advance for any insight on this matter, Happy Holidays - Joe
