If it gives your brand/keyphrase more exposure on SERPs then why not? Wouldn't it be great if you could rank number 1 and 2 with different websites? I suppose it depends on the competitiveness of the keywords to an extent, so do some research there.

I am looking to put a crib/cheat sheet together for clients about writing content, blogs and twitter and other social. I want this to be SHORT - SHARP and to the point. Any advise is appreciate. This is what I have so far.... Blogs - Tell the world what your company is doing, whats new, also link it to the news - BE INTERESTING - Educate don't just say "we offer this services its great" - make it relevant BUT do not be obvious - ask yourself would you read this blog find it interesting - read it again - what did you learn? Twitter - Treat like a micro blog with a personality - use it to great a company personality do not just link to your site when you do a blog post - comment on news events - BE INTERESTING - BE FUN - Make people want to engage with you - we recently tweeted this:- eg:- Something pointless for the weekend - See fun video link. How many FaceBook likes do I need to start making a difference?
Just started the social scene. We have a FaceBook page https://www.facebook.com/SMSPro.Safety.Management.System Only about a year old, and until two weeks ago, we had about 8-10 likes. Then I started working on getting likes (please like this page if you can). Question: How many Likes do I need for Google to start counting this as significant? Would also appreciate any comments on FaceBook page to help.

On the "new" YouTube" layout how can I select the correct Facebook page to connect to when my Facebook account has multiple business pages attached to it? My Facebook account has three business pages and the "base" user profile. I am trying to connect one of the business pages to a YouTube channel but each time I attempt to do this YouTube selects the "base" user profile and I cannot determine how to switch it to the correct business page. I attempted to connect while signed in "as the page" but it would not allow that. Thanks for any help!

Big business associated with "pets" and other terms used for animals might fall away to terms such as "animal companion". Some people think that the term "pet" is politically incorrect. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2011/05/09/dnt.pet.politically.incorrect.CBC?hpt=T2 Time to go out and register "AnimalCompanionSupplies.com" I doubt that very many people are going to start searching for "animal companion food" but. the people who adopt these new terms will be, in my opinion, the same folks who buy high end goods and stuff a lot of items in their shopping carts. 😉 J/K

Twitter Account names for Fictional Characters
I'm consulting for a web series that features ~6 well established characters, and I would like to establish a twitter stream for each character before the start of the new season in a few months. The characters all have first names but no last name, and the web series's name (Naked In A Fishbowl) is too long, and the acronym NIAF is not well-branded yet. What would be the best way to pick Twitter handles for cast members (BonnieNIAF, Jean NIAF? BonnieFishbowl? Bonnie_NIAF?)
