Will google consider it as one click for adwords?
-
Hi All,
Many times I want to check actual page of competitors they are targeting in google adwords. Like when I search for any keywords and my competitors page comes on top ads in google, then I copy url from search result and paste in any other browser will it be consider as click and google will charge to my competitor?

Thanks!

Hi,
You'll likely be charging them for the click, however Google does have tools in place to identify invalid clicks - i.e. multiple PPC clicks from one IP address. They'll likely be picking up on the number of clicks you're making in a short period of time and it's likely that your competitor may not be charged.

I hope this helps,

Adwords and Analytics Conversion Tracking within Adwords
I am trying to decide whether to setup conversion tracking in Adwords using the website/page as a source, or Analytics. I do understand the (basic) difference, however in tossing up the pro's and con's of each I would be grateful for some input. The advertiser is in the (offline) retail and service industry and so conversions being tracked include completing a form, making a booking etc - so it is no problem to implement the tracking snippet. My gut instinct is that Analytics is not as accurate as a reflection as the webpage (due to the way it records only the last conversion). Would it be a mistake to use both? (my concern is that double clicks will be recorded)

Adwords: Decrease mobile bid for only certain ad groups?
In one of my AdWords campaigns, I've noticed that certain ad groups consistently convert twice as badly on mobile devices as other ad groups do. Is there a way to adjust mobile bidding only for certain ad groups, or can you only control this campaign-wide?

OK to have a modal pop-up on an AdWords landing page?
We're about to launch an AdWords campaign targeting users who are searching for hand-crafted furniture. The website we're sending users to has a large inventory of furniture, and all if it is hand-crafted. But there currently is no page on the site specifically communicating that all the furniture on the site is hand-crafted. So, rather than dump the user right into browsing the inventory, we want to put an intermediate step in place to say, in essence, "Hey, welcome, yes, we have lots of handcrafted furniture. In fact, all of it is hand-crafted. Here, have a look around." The art director on the project is suggesting that a modal pop-up would be perfect for this scenario. It would greet the user, who could then dismiss the pop-up and move into the site. I have two concerns about using a modal, though: Does a modal violate Google's policy against pop-ups that open new windows? Assuming we trigger the modal using Javascript, will AdsBot have any trouble crawling the content of the modal, such that it could hurt the landing page component of our quality score?

How to Preserve Capitalization of Specific Letters in AdWords?
I've used dynamic keyword insertion variations in Google Adwords, but here's one that's a bit tricky and I'm starting to think the only way to do it is to create a unique campaign group for this keyword without DKI to pull it off. Trying to dynamically insert the keyword actiNOS, but see no way to over-ride DKI in the campaign for this term. Any ideas or suggestions, or do I need to create a separate adgroup without DKI for this term?

Cost of Retargeting (Remarketing) Ad Clicks
If you run an Adwords banner campaign with retargeting, how is the cost per click determined? My hunch is that it would be different than text ads in search result pages.

Is a $100 adwords credit appropriate here
Hello, A long time ago we set up an Adwords campaign for our company on my sister's personal Adwords account. My sister would like us to set up a new account under a business email for the new Adwords keyword research we want to do. Is using a $100 coupon appropriate for our new account? I honestly don't want to use it if it's against Google's policy. And is there anything else I need to keep in mind as far as fees or requirements in setting up a new account and/or using the coupon? Thanks!

Why is my now banned page considered a bridge page?
Google adwords have banned my adwords because my personal blog post is a "bridge" page http://firstconversion.com/the-pasty-shop-is-not-a-fast-food-chain/ Can anyone explain how this vanilla wordpress blog is a spam bridge page? They give me 3 options to rectify this, none of which make any sense To comply with our policies, the options below are available: Option 1: Refine your web page so that it contains a substantial amount of

Anyone sad to see Adwords Position Preference Go?
Is Google saying, "Why keep offering a service that doesn’t work?" or "Let's make more money."?
