In my crawl report I'm getting the error: 804 : HTTPS (SSL) error encountered when requesting page. How can I fix this? .

I also have received this warning since upgrading to https.
Webmaster tools shows that no issues apart from a few 404 errors.
No indication of an issue when browsing directly

Top pages according Link Explorer shows 301 pages and images
I was looking at the top pages on my website using Link Explorer, it contains 301 pages and image URLs. Is this expected or I should be doing something to fix it? URL with second highest PA in site is a page already 301 redirected more than 6 months back. URL with highest PA in my blog is a random image in the blog, rather than any blog posts. Is this normal? Calling all 301 htaccess Guru's - www to non www - then to https + Redirect homepage to inner page
I have tried searching, multiple opinions and multiple things that supposedly work. What I have now, seems to work from an end user perspective, but Roger tells me otherwise: Redirect Chain issue....redirect, which redirects which redirects etc..... FIRST, we need to redirect all www to non www. SECOND, we need to redirect all to https. THIRD, we need to redirect the homepage to an inner page. (Got to love BOGUS DMCA complaints! :)?) Puzzled. High domain authority, but low page authority?
I have a question regarding how a page's authority can be low but the domain authority be high. I'm using the SERP report in moz to compare competing pages. The page I'm working on is an ecommerce category page. Moz says it has very low page authority, has been indexed for a little over a year, it's domain authority is a moderate 50, and has no root domains linking to it. It is more relevant than the other pages (has more products for sale that fit the keyword searched for), has a decent amount of copy on the page, but ranks around #10 in the search results. The competing pages are also ecommerce category pages. The 9 ranking higher have domain authority varying from 30-75, and 1 or 2 root domain links to them. Their number of products that match the keyword searched are all over the board, some have many matches, some have only 6 or 8 results. Some have a moderate amount of text on the page, some have very little text on the page. Yet they have page authority in the 30s-40s. What goes into page authority that I'm missing which would make these other pages have so much more authority when they are just slightly better in the other metrics listed above? What am I missing here?

Ww.domain.com coming up with error
our domain is showing in moz with the following error in crawl reports Crawl Error We were unable to access your homepage, which prevented us from crawling the rest of your site. It is likely that other browsers as well as search engines may encounter this problem and abort their sessions. This could be a temporary outage, but we recommend making sure your network and server are working correctly. note that the url being displayed is ww.domain.com and not www.domain.com . we do not have a 301 in place, we have switched off wildcard forwarding from the server.. its acting as the url is a subdomain that is not working.. should i just ignore it?

Should I be getting an 'A' Grade for basic words in a page title?
It seems as long as a word in the page title matches a word(s) within the page content you will get an 'A' grade. Should I be replacing these keywords with higher monthly searches and lower difficulty? It appears deceptive when you test a new website and all the pages get an 'A' for a word as basic as 'about.' Please advise.

My product pages have no weight / links from root domains with the Moz tool bar
Hi, When I view my home page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk) with the Moz toolbar, I see a good PA and a good amount of links from root domains. As I go down the site, it seems to get worse. The category pages (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Category/0/Straight_Foods.html) have a little but not much and then from this point onwards, it's nothing. The product page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods~Sunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html) is reporting to have no root domain links but I am not sure why. Interestingly, when I click through to a review page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/StockReview/0/SUNH/0/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html) it does have some juice. Would anyone be able help on why this is happening and what I need to be looking at in order to resolve it please? EDIT: I've been looking at the hyperlinks and notice something odd. Big dip in errors last week?
Hi, I have a client who has seen a big dip in their errors, warnings and notices - pretty much consistently across all - then they popped right back up the next week. Is it possible it was a crawl error? What is the best approach to trouble shoot and find out why this happened? As far as they know, nothing major changed on their end. Thanks!
