How to get the most reviews for in home service providers?
-
Most of my clients go to the clients home to provide their service. For example a plumber or a bed bug extermination. Most of my clients find it hard to ask for and get reviews even though they do a great job. Is there an app or anything else out there that makes the process easier and gets better results than just asking?
Are there any review aggregator applications? Maybe an application that a client can write a review in one location and the review is pushed out to multiple sites like Google My Business or YP?

Hi Cory,
At Blue Corona, we have a software that we use on our clients' websites cause ReviewUsNow. With the program, the company can send out emails to customers they've serviced over the past few days, week, etc. and ask them to leave them a review. The review then gets broken up by location and posted on their website. The customer is then prompted to share the review on additional platforms like Google, Yelp, etc. and all they have to do is press the copy button to copy everything that they wrote, and paste it into the additional platforms.
We've found it to be very successful at building the number of reviews on our clients' profiles.
Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Hi There!
GetFiveStars is well-thought-of in the industry and can be very helpful for businesses that are otherwise struggling to earn and manage consumer sentiment. I test drove the product before it launched and was pretty amazed by it then, and since that time, they've added so many new features. Definitely check out GetFiveStars blog, as well ... good tips on there!

Patrick,
You are a wealth of knowledge. I use most of those but will integrate all of them. I am also looking at using Get Five Stars. Those review links would get integrated in GFStars.
Always interested in your input.

Hi Cory
There are great services that you can list your client's businesses on to get reviews. Consider the following:
These are trusted review sites that people use. I would have your clients ask their customer base after their services (in person and via email) to leave a review. Here's a couple of great tip resources on how to ask for reviews and also sources to get reviews from your customers - I highly suggest reading it!
Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Hope this helps!

What is the best practice way to attribute a Google Review?
An example might be a local directory site, where multiple businesses are featured. To flesh out the respective business profiles, Google Reviews are included. Copying/pasting would be the definition of duplicate content. I wonder though if hyperlinking to the review itself would be enough? For a random example: "you literally have never had better ice cream. cutest shop in charleston sc" - Mandee Jalbert, Google Review Google doesn't appear to have a review embed option- am I wrong? If not, would the above attribution via the "Google Review" hyperlink be sufficient to head off any potential dings for duplicate content? Thanks! Stephen

I'm wondering if reviews services like yotpo and reviews.io are worth it.
The reviews services advertise that your reviews and stars will be placed in your Google search results and this helps with rankings. Does anyone have experience using Yotpo or Reviews.io with a brick and mortar business? Or, any business for that matter? Thanks,

Review stars dropped off in Google from Rich Snippets (started in October '17 - Jan '18 timeframe)
Our review stars from Rich Snippets are not showing up in Google for Novus products. I believe these are structured correctly or at least there are no errors. We have tried to troubleshoot on our own and asked multiple SEO'er's and partners, but have not had success. Turning to MOZ! They were there in September/October timeframe but dropped off in October to January timeframe. example URL: https://www.google.com/search?q=hif+1+alpha+antibody&oq=hif+1+alpha+antibod (It seems to be off all products); This started in October to January time frame so was before the latest algo update.

Bing Local Lists Yelp Reviews From Another Business At Shared Address
Hi everyone, I am having a problem with Bing local listings and am hoping someone might be able to help me out. Basically I am working with a business that shares an address with another (separate legal entities, different owners, different phone, different domain). Both are bathroom remodelers, but one uses the space as a storefront/showroom, the other is strictly a service area business and uses the space for storage/office space (this is the one I am working with). I have claimed their listing on bing local and set it to hide the address. The problem I am having is that for whatever reason, Bing local is associating the yelp page of business 1 (showroom) with business 2 (business 2 is not currently on yelp). My question: what options do I have to remedy this? Is there a way to request a manual review of sorts to have this fixed? Would it be sufficient to create/verify a yelp page for business 2 and hope that Bing picks up on this?

How to improve the review to the website ?
Hello guys,
Reviews and Ratings | | WayneRooney
lately we think how we can improve all the reviews on our site from the clients.
We notice that there are all these option regarding to reviews : Google Reviews/Local/Places/+
Yelp
Facebook
www.feefo.com
www.trustpilot.co.uk
www.ekomi.co.uk/uk And much more... Now, the problem here with a lot of these sites, the person that write the review need to register to the site.
Most of our clients, not interesting in register or to open account.
They need something fast that they can write the review and move on. What do you think is the right approach to manage all this ?
We getting a lot of traffic but its seems that we don't advantage all of him regarding to the review part. Any tips here from the expert ? Thank you0 -
Outrank Warriorforum.com review
Hi Everyone, When you search our company name we dominate the first page with site links and our social links. Recently a Warriorforum.com review jumped to the third position from a post back in Oct. Thankfully it's a good review, but I would prefer if the site wasn't #3. We recently published a Wikipedia article that was approved with the intent to get it ranked in the first page. Do you have any other thoughts on how to outrank those review sites? Right now the SERP looks like: 1. Company Website with 6 sitelinks

2. Company Twitter link
3. Warriorforum.com Review
4. News about our Company
5. Company Youtube
6. Company Facebook
7. Company LinkedIn
8. Third party review Thank you!0
