Which method should I use for my URL structure?
-
I have an existing site that is currently utilizing a structure that is like this:
http://www.mysite.com/Ohio/City-of-Cleveland-PRODUCT-NAME
Should I restructure it like:
http://www.mysite.com/Ohio/City-of-Cleveland/Product-Name
We are doing very well with very specific searches already but are sometimes coming in 2nd and 3rd place. For example: If I search for CLEVELAND PRODUCT NAME I always come up in the top three and about 60% of the time I am #1. I want to make it better. We have only launched in 4 states but plan on launching an additional 4 states over the next few weeks and I want to make sure we are building things properly.
Any feedback would be wonderful. As usual, thanks everyone!!

Your exact question was answered by Matt Cutts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=971qGsTPs8M
In short, it does not matter.
I would make the recommendation that only lowercase letters are used in your URL. If you replace a capitalized letter with a lowercase letter it will not associate with the same webpage.

Using Iframes for Affiliate Ads
Hey all, I got a question: is it Ok to use an Iframe for example to list some Vacation Houses in my Travel Website? This is an Affiliate kind of Program Iframe Link. I did write unique Content about 400 Words and put this Text below the Affiliate Iframe, is this good or not?

Slash at the end of a url
I keep reading contradicting information, so I figured I'll ask here. What's the best practice for slash '/' at the end of a URL? Should it be idealchooser.com/search/laptop/ or idealchooser.com/search/laptop (no trailing slash)? The options: 1. Accept both equally 2. Accept 1 and redirect the other with 301 3. Accept 1 and treat the other as a wrong URL returning 404 Which would be the best for SEO? Thank you.

How to best use our blog posts for SEO?
My company recently created a WordPress hosted blog. It is hosted completely separate from our company site. The primary domain for the blog is blog.mydomainname.com, but we immediately created a folder within our company website for www.mydomainname.com/blog that has a reverse proxy to the blog itself. I'm curious though if we should consider taking the content from the blog posts and re-creating that within our company website as well? The blog posts are very good SEO rich content, and we always struggle to find new content to put on our company website as it is already. Would like to get some folks thoughts on this. Thanks!

What URL Should I use in Google Place Page?
Alright, I have a client that has 1 website and 14 locations. We want to create place pages for each of their locations but my question is which URL should I put in the place page and why? I can put in the root domain into each place page, or should I put in the URL that lands on the actual location on the root. example: domain.com/location1 Thanks!

2 URLs, same content, 1 with keywords. Does this hurt me?
I'm in the process of adding some new features to our site and have a question about our URLs. Most of our URLs consist of either sitename.com/contentname or sitename.com/content/contentid I'm in the process of building a directory to those pages. The directory has a number of filters which will ultimately point to the destination page. sitename.com/filter1/filter2/contentid or sitename.com/filter1/filter2/contentname The destinations will have references. From an SEO perspective, I would think I want the filter1/filter2 version of the link indexed since this will add keywords that someone might search for. However, since the filters are dynamic, if someone just searches for contentname I would want to have sitename.com/contentname returned in the search results. Do I get any SEO benefit out of building those filter links as described if they are not the canonical links?
