PPC Long tail keywords
-
I was wondering feedback and input on creating long tail keywords associated with a question. With addition a landing page that addresses that problem with a few products. Using PPC to bid on long tail keywords, I would set a campaign for long tail keywords and have multiple ad groups with a close knit and similar sentences like "Top 10 highest rated summer dresses" and "Popular dresses for the summer weather." My landing page would address the question with a list of products like a buzz feed article format.
1. As it is on a subdomain blog with an add to cart feature, would interlink building be helpful in exchanging link juice.
2. Bidding on a long tail keyword is cheaper, but will they result in higher conversions since its hyper-specific question? And since it is a long tail keyword sentence. 2-3 smaller keywords between the sentence would also pick up on to Google search?

Agree with Alick3000, broad match modified keywords would be far more attractive, and as per link values, nothing would be driven by this process.
Using broad match allows you to match a series of keywords to any longtail phrase. Providing the +keywords you use are present, then your advert/adverts will potentially appear.
As per +summer +dresses - from Alick300 - this would match both of your longtail ideas and more.
e.g.
Top 10 highest rated summer dresses Popular dresses for the summer weather.
Where can I buy spring/summer ladies dresses blue summer dresses size 10 dresses with a summer print
etcAs you can see it gives you a much wider target whilst still being specific to your needs.
I hope this helps.

Hi,
I don't understand first part "As it is on a subdomain blog with an add to cart feature, would interlink building be helpful in exchanging link juice."
link juice has nothing to do with PPC long tail keyword.
For second part
Yes long tail keyword gives high conversion rate but search volumes would be very limited so I would suggest you to use broad match modifier to target long tail keyword.
e.g +summer + dresses
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Our PPC UTM URLs Aren't Registering In GA Properly
Hi, We recently ran a few ads on Facebook and Reddit for a campaign of ours. Each of the URLs were properly attributed UTM links. Some of them register properly in campaigns, but the vast majority aren't. I can only find the attribution by checking All Traffic and displaying the landing page and the source/medium. Our Facebook Ad Manager reports MANY more clicks than our Campaign section in GA is for the campaign name. Here's the URL I receive for the landing page: /?url=http://www.ourwebsiteurl.com/our-landing-page?utm_source=facebook.com&dm_redirected=true Is Facebook writing over our UTM with their own so all I receive is that it came from Facebook? The URL we used was complete with utm_source, utm_campaign and utm_medium, yet these aren't fully reported. Any ideas?

How to find a good PPC firm
Hi guys, I'm completely new to PPC. I want to hire a firm to help drive PPC traffic to credit card landing pages. Our starting budget is limited ($2,000/month for everything) but can grow to about $5,000 if we see results. My questions are: Where can I find a list of good PPC firms that fits my vertical (credit cards) and budget? What are the key questions I should ask a PPC firm before I hire them? Is there a "Beginner's Guide to PPC" type of whitepaper, ebook, article, or course I can take to educate myself? Thanks in advance!

Arabic Keyword Research
Hi All, Can anyone recommend good SEOs who specialise in Arabic? I've had my client's website translated into Arabic but the translation company do not specialise in local keyword research. They've translated literally I think (obviously not being an Arabic speaker, I can't confirm this). I need someone to review the translated site (only 4 pages so far), with a marketing head on, and ensure it includes the relevant local keywords used in UAE countries. Will also require deeper keyword research for a Google.ae PPC campaign and Ad copy written in Arabic. If I fail to find someone here in the moz community I'll head over to oDesk, where I'll find everyone and their mother-in-law proclaiming to be the worlds best Arabic SEO 😕

I want to try some Google PPC ads on other sites but don't know what i'm doing.
We have seen a massive drop in traffic this year and i am contemplation using banner ads to try to increase sales and also to help with marketing. the problem is i know nothing about doing this. I have used it in the past but to limited success and i was just stabbing in the dark. I have a few questions. Am i better to target keywords related to the product or to the people who may buy my products? Is it better for direct sales or brand awareness? What kind of ROI can i expect if i get it working well? Is it better to pay for the big keywords or pic all the low hanging fruit? Does it work? Should i employ an expert, are they worth it? Any insights into the world of PPc would be a massive help.

Advantage in PPC for megaspenders like VistaPrint and Office Depot?
I sell niche printing and office supplies. Our site goes after certain specific keywords, and we use PPC where we compete against small companies such as ourselves, and the mega companies like VistaPrint and Office Depot. I know about how quality score affects our PPC costs, I was wondering if these huge companies have any other advantage against us in the PPC world. Does their name recognition give them a quality score of 10 on every keyword they buy? Is there a way to find out what your competition is paying on PPC keywords? Do they have other advantages in PPC that I may not know about? Thank you so much.

PPC + SEO - Both well ranked, which penalty if there's any.
Hello everyone, I have a doubt about the PPC and SEO. For example if i rank at first page ( something like 5th position ) for one specific keyword, and then I decide to add this keyword to my PPC campaign. My 5th rank will be penalized by google if i buy the PPC keyword ? Thanks.
