Has anyone used PRWeb for press releases? Especially their basic plan. The link for the site itself is very valuable but I am more concerned about their distribution network. Any success with this site or any other? Thanks

I haven't used Press Releases in my SEO that is why I am kind of questioning that method.

I used RPWeb years ago with a prior company, and it seemed to be of benefit. That being said, I did not use the service extensively nor for any significant duration of time, so I cannot make a strong endorsement.
The only other thing that I can share is that this topic did come up in a few conversations I was involved in at MozCon, and the general sentiment seemed to be that PRWeb is at the very least of reasonable value. The subject just wasn't discussed exhaustively.
I'm sorry I can't offer more specifics, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable can add to this thread. I'm looking to incorporate press releases into my SEO startegy ASAP and would appreciate any insight.

Duplicate Free Press Release Submission
I know that free press release sites don't always do the best job at getting ones relates out there, but I had a thought. What if I were to submit the same release to say, ten free press release sites? Would that it at least give me ten backlinks from those sites alone? They'd be good backlinks since I'll be able to have the desired anchor text. Is that just another version of article spinning, or is it a good strategy for getting the release out there as much as possible? I'd value any of your opinions.

Should I link to my Press Releases?
I just created my first press release at prlog.org using the free account, which lets you have one outgoing followed link. Question: Should I link to my press releases from my web site? I made the mistake of doing link exchanges in the past, and worried Google would detect it as a link exchange. It would be nice to link to the press releases on my site while still getting the benefits of having an incoming link from a site with PR 6. Is prlog.org a good site for press releases? Is there another one you recommend that is free or inexpensive? Is there any benefits to using multiple press release sites, with different content on each site? Thanks!!!

Can I use the same video (hosted on my website, static URL) for 2 completely unique press releases/articles)? Would this make it less unique although the subject on those to press releases would fall into the same category (travel) but will have different content?
