The best Certification for Marketers
-
I have been working on Digital Marketing for long time ago,
most of the knowledge that I have I learned by myself, researching, testing, asking, participating in communities like this one.But is time to go up to next level. Im not a Guru but definitely I'm not a newbie and I have been looking for the best, course and certfications on this fields
Some ones are mandatory
- Google Analytics > Data Analytics
- Facebook Blue Print > Data Analytics
- Google Adwords > PPC
But I'm looking for an Independent Organization who can validate my knowledge, time ago I read on Envato
"6 Professional Certifications for Freelancers", The American Marketing Association (AMA)
is that type of independent source. The OMPC look the same as AMA and then a lot of question comes to my mind
And I want to hear opinions of others marketers about it?
Are they relevant?
Which has better recognition?
The people (who can hire me) will see useful those Certifications? As I see I have to invest money, time and a lot of effor so I wonder to know
which one is the best option. -
Yes I know and I get your point, I never went to any university, school or even a simple course, and never get any client based on a certification. So Im agree with you on that
But that is not my point, my point is I want to grow and looking for the best way to do it. That is why I'm asking.
The idea of a Certification is not invented by me or any other marketer, was made it by the companies.
Google certifies both companies and individuals.
Premier Partner is not the same as a Partner.Microsoft is the same case,It certifies both companies and individuals.
Bing, Azure, DevelopersCisco, Sap or Oracle are even worst, you will not sell any product of them if you don't have a complete team tranined by them no matter how many experience you claim you already have.
Hubspot, Optimizely, Shopify, Amazon
So getting back to my point
AMA or OMCP
are relevant in the industry? yes or not and why?Are those relevant for any decision maker?
I mean if an HR Manager is looking for a Marketer will use those certifications as a factor. In case that none certification or course is useful, which strategy should I follow, in order to outstand over competitors?
Don't come to me with the idea of
Create a personal website, with a really good content, create a link building campaign and outreach.....hahahahahah don't make me laugh is the same thing everyone can do with a tutorial on Lynda or Udemy -
Marketers tend to think that they need to exhibit their "marketing expertise" by acquiring multiple certifications, accreditations, etc. within the marketing industry. However, in some cases, they might be better served by earning proof of their expertise within the clients' industries, many of which have their own certifications, accreditations, etc.
It is easy for a potential client to be put off by a marketer. They are spammed by marketers every freeking day. But, that same client might be impressed by a person who has earned respectable credentials in the industry where he is working. Finally a marketer who knows wtf he is talking about.

Latest Info-graphic Best Practices
This is a good "problem" to have. My client is a consortium of web companies. It has just produced a terrific info-graphic on the the latest European data policies. The author is a leading lawyer in the field and the content is outstanding, authoritative, and current. The issue is how to best use the info-graphic for both SEO and general marketing purposes. We will publish the info-grahic on our own site. But what else should we do? (1) The info-graphic already contains the website name. Should we make this a hyperlink on our own site, with or without keyword rich text? (2) We can certainly do handcrafted outreach to likely sites, who might republish. Should we just ask them for backlinks and hope for the best? Or should we embed? (3) We can also send the info graphic as an Eblast to a wider list. Same questio:n Should we just ask them for backlinks and hope for the best? Or should we embed? The site already high DA and a diversified link portfolio. There is no need for risky tactics or "Hail Mary" passes. OTOH, it seems a pity not to make the most of this. Ideas on the above? Other thoughts?

What is the best way to become a published writer / blogger for bigger industry sites?
I'm a younger SEO manager and wanted to started establishing my name throughout the industry through well written blogs, expert articles, and any advice that is needed. I know a lot of answers will be to start my own blog and establish that and I'll get noticed, but is there a good way to make the first contact with industry sites to get an article or blog post published to their site? Or is it a pretty tight "gotta know someone" inner circle?

Pre-launch market/industry research
I am getting ready to start a web based marketing firm, with a strong focus on local search and b2b organic search engine optimization. However, I want to pick a specific b2b market to focus on when the site goes live. How do I go about conducting this market research when i do not have any visitors to my site yet. My goal is to spot a market/industry that has a gap where my service will be in demand? All of the popular guides and blogs focus on market research that takes place after you launch your website or after you already have an audience to analyze. Any advice or suggestions on conducting market/industry research without having a audience yet would be greatly appreciated!

i spend a decent amount of my spare time browsing quora, stumbleupon, google reader, pulse, etc keeping up with all the different aspects of internet marketing when i come across a particuarly valuable piece of content i take a few seconds and share it using hootsuite on my linked, twitter, facebook (i spread them out so there is only one post a day) this rewards those who write valuable content but im not doing anything to benefit my site - www.sawwebmarketing.com im establishing myself as somebody who has good stuff to share to my potential clients.... what a quick, easy way to share the high quality things i come across that will create links for me as well? Best way to recruit quality SEO staff?
We are in a nice position in that we are growing everyday. As the result, we need more staff, but do not have the time to bring along someone without any real SEO background. I have used just about every source over the years to hire people with good and bad result.

For an SEO, with experience in some or all of the process: Link building, Keyword Analysis Site evaluation, eCommerce, Analytics... where do you go to find someone good? What about to find them yesterday? 😉 Obviously, they do not have to be expert at all, but they need to be familiar with all and have experience in at least two or three.1 -
