How to Sync Hot Frog with Moz Listing score
-
Hi,
I have a Client who owns two restaurant locations. And have been updating and verifying their listings while using Moz's Listing Scores to validate improvements.
1st Locations' Moz listing score can be found here: https://goo.gl/h17VZj
2nd Locations' score can be found here: https://goo.gl/ZnQMpi
Both have Hot Frog Listings
1st Locations Hot Frog Account: https://www.hotfrog.com/business/nv/henderson/me-gusta-tacos_43095742
2nd Hot Frog Account https://www.hotfrog.com/business/nv/las-vegas/me-gusta-tacos
One thing is that although I have created a Hot Frog account for the 1st location, the Hot Frog account does not propagate with Moz's Listing analysis. On the other hand, the Second Location's Moz Listing shows that there is indeed a Hot Frog Account
Not sure why one shows up, while the other does not.

Hi there! Sorry for any confusion about this.
The score within your listing report is representative of what our system observes at this exact moment. So, it is a snapshot in time of how your listing distribution looks. This means that if, for example, one of our partners had an API outage at the time which caused them to be unable to report your listing's status to us, then that listing would appear as blank within your listing report and be reflected as such in the snapshot score.
If you are managing a location through a Moz Local subscription, our ability to detect a given listing does not affect our listing submission service. We're constantly listening to our partner networks to detect those best matches, and as soon as we are able to find it the listing report will reflect that. Generally, if you know you have a listing on a particular site, you don't need to worry about what is detectable.
If this is not a managed listing through Moz Local, you will want to make sure that your Hotfrog listing exactly matches what appears in the listing report. That will give you the best chance of being found!
Please let us know if you have any other questions! You can also reach out to us at help@moz.com if you would like help digging further into your account.

Moz Local Address Issues
I've been having some issues with addresses recently that I've been submitting to Moz Local and I'd like to see if other people are having similar issues and how they are resolving them... So Moz local requires you to have any Suite or Floor info on line 2 and I am having a hard time making this work with Google. It seems like they always add it to line 1 and when I call to get it fix it is like pulling teeth to get it right. There has been a couple times i've had to fight to tell them its not formatted right. All this trouble has really made me think about if it is worth it using the service if this is going to be an issue.

Local Search and Moz Local Question
I'm using Moz Local for a few clients right now with good results. Was talking to a friend about using it for one of her web clients and a new scenario came up. The client does waste management and has a dozen locations in/outside of a metro area. She's been "trying to get their listing on Google Maps" without luck. After some probing, it turns out their main address for operations is in the metro area they are targeting, but they don't have waste facilities there and wanted to prevent customers from coming there. They actually use a PO Box for their contact information on their website and make no mention of the main address. Looking to see if anyone agrees with my proposed solution: Claim Google My Business listing for the main address in the metro area they're trying to optimize for. Use Moz Local to clean up their main listing (after a quick check, it's a mess) for the operations address. Update website contact info to include the main operations address, and make specific mention of which other addresses customers should/shouldn't go to for dumping/picking up equipment. So, the recommendation would be one Moz Local account. I figure no need to do listing for all of their other locations since they're just waste facilities controlled by the main listing. Does this seem like a plan?

Moz Local and Telephone Number Change
I've been using Moz Local for a couple of months now and I must say it taught me a thing or two about complexity management! We recently acquired a new phone number for my business and I would like Moz Local assistance to make sure the new number gets populated out there in the wild. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why can't Moz Local pull up my Bing local listing?
One of my listings on Moz Local has a Bing Local listing, but Moz Local can't locate it and suggests that I create one. The NAP is consistent. Is this something that occasionally occurs?

How does Moz Local respond when confronted with a YEXT verified listing?
From what I can tell, Yext overrides Moz Local. So if you're paying Moz Local for listing service & someone else comes along and purchase Yext for that same business's listing, the directories incorporated with Yext WILL NOT listen to Moz Local. They show the Yext listing information. Can I get this confirmed by someone at Moz? Point being... if in Moz Local vs Yext, Moz Local always loses to Yext, there's not a lot of point in having Moz Local -- Especially since Yahoo now requires Yext to update Yahoo Local Map listings.
