Using Moz Local for Two Businesses / Two Websites but One Building
-
I'd like to use Moz Local for two of my clients who share a space. The first one is an independent tattoo artist, who operates inside a larger tattoo shop. Both the tattoo shop and this individual artist have websites, and they'd both like me to optimize for local search. Will this be a problem using Moz Local to add both businesses? I will buy two different Moz Local subscriptions for them, but I don't want one business to override the other since they're inside the same address.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Sam from Moz's Help Team here!
So, two listings with very similar NAP information (Name, Address, Phone number) won't cause any problems with the distribution functions of Moz Local, but could pose difficulties for the reporting functions of the tool. Moz Local uses those three NAP elements to identify each individual location, so overlapping data can easily confuse its computer brain.
Listing irregularities will be ironed out over time, as the updated data is accepted and propagated across our partners' servers. Over time, the individual/separate listings will get up to speed like any other location.
In terms of Listing Score, Inconsistencies, and Duplicates, any overlapping NAP data can make for some funny results. You may see Moz Local confuse Location A's listings for Location B's - especially if Location A has been managed for a longer period of time and has updated data with our partners, but Location B is newer and not yet fully established. As the separate locations' listings are successfully created and updated with our partners, these reporting mistakes will diminish.
All of the above said, we always recommend that both listings within one address have their own unique, identifying phone numbers.
If you have any follow up questions, just let me know!

You can manage as many business listing as you want but of course, all depends on your subscription plan. So need to keep in mind that you will pay per location/business and per features.
In your case, you want to add 2 business or listing you will have to choose which plan suits your needs
- Essential--------> 99.00
- Professional----> 179.00
- Premium--------> 249.00
If you have experience on SEO and you are familiar with this kind of tool, go for the Essential Plan. If you think that you will need some guide then the Professional Plan is for you. The Premium plan is for agencies and developers the main difference is its offer API integration and based on your comments this not the case
You can check and compare all the plans available

Foursquare syncing on Moz Local
I searched the boards here and I couldn't find a question about one of my most persistent issues with Moz Local. As an SEO at a small agency, I'm typically managing between 5-6 different Moz Local campaigns from one dashboard. I have found the Foursquare syncing process to be extremely troublesome. Has anyone cracked it? I was only able to get 1 of my 5 current campaigns to sync. And I did it a while ago so I've forgotten how I did it. Here's how the process has been going for me. This is going to be lengthy (sorry) but I want you all to have all the deets. I see an alert in the Foursquare sync box on my left hand menu. I click it. It takes me to this page: https://moz.com/local/bulk/managed/oauth/foursquare. I see a message that reads "4 Listings need access to Foursquare". I click the button in this message that says "+ Foursquare account". I add a personal Foursquare account because apparently you need a pesonal account before you can set up a business account (a la Facebook?). I successfully go through steps to add a Foursquare account. If I click the little gear in the "4 Listings need access to Foursquare" box it shows that I have 3 connected Foursquare accounts. But this appears to be as far as I can go. What's next? Above the "4 Listings need access to Foursquare" box there's another box that says "2 Foursquare account have no matching listings." This box isn't clickable. There appears to be no next step here. I'm super frustrated by this user experience. Am I supposed to creating Foursquare Accounts with the business name some how?

Q: At what point in time should I submit a "corrected" NAP to MOZ Local in the process of cleaning up NAP in the directory ecosystem?
1- Can I submit a "corrected" NAP to Moz Local and trust that all the incorrect info in the entire directory ecosystem will get corrected? If the answer is yes, how long would this take? 2- Should I change the incorrect NAP listings in the "other" directories that MOZ doesn't have an agreement with, before I submit a "corrected" NAP to MOZ.? Thanks for the info:-)

Moz Local - Hours
I didn't see this previously posted so regrets if it's been asked. I have a local client that runs a bar/restaurant open until 1 a.m. In setting up hours in the Moz Local tool, the day ends at midnight. What's the best way, using the tool, to display "4 p.m. - 1 a.m"?

Moz Local UK - Is Facebook or Google being used to verify NAP?
I am using Moz Local UK on behalf of a customer of mine. There are two verified listings when I do a search for their business name and postcode. There are a couple of slight variations in the two verified NAPs; One says Road, the other says Rd. One says their county, the other says their district - or East Sussex & Brighton & Hove. Both their Facebook and Google+ pages say Road and East Sussex. Both verified listings are wrong and in contrast to any Facebook or Google+ account. Not too sure where to go with this and would appreciate any advice :0)

Moz Local doesn't have Categories for my clients business
Moz Local doesn't have Categories for my clients business, for that matter neither does Google Business: Using the Moz category tool- and Superpages, where we have been listed for a long time, the following categories have no MOZ local or Google Equivalent. Millwright CRATES & CRATING INDUSTRIAL PACKING & CRATING CRANES, HOISTING, & RIGGING SERVICES MACHINERY MOVERS & ERECTORS EXPORT CONSULTANTS RIGGERS EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES this makes fitting into Local search very difficult at best. Since the Moving category is so crowded, and brings in 99 household moves to one legitimate industrial move or rigging jobs. So is it best just not to pay for Moz local? How do we get Moz Local and google to add these important industrial local categories?

Can Moz local correct listings with incorrect addresses/phone numbers that have no FB or G+ listing?
We just started using Moz Local for a law office client. The csv has the client's correct information. However, our client has listings out there with a completely incorrect address/city and alternate phone number. There wouldn't be a valid FB or G+ listing for this incorrect address to use for validation. Is there any way Moz Local can find these and correct them by matching name or website alone? The incorrect ones are not showing up in the list of duplicates.
