Strange 404 Pages Appearing in Google Analytics

Hi,

My client has some strange urls appearing in GA which lead to error pages. Please see the following image:

e.g URLs like /h/6445738.html

I've used screaming frog to see if these pages exist on the website and I can't find them, anywhere. Therefore how are they coming up in GA?

If anyone could please help I'd really appreciate it.

Happy to jump in and help. There was another thread that recently addressed this issue and I'll dig for it. For now, can you confirm that the site hasn't been hit with a malware attack? Based on your post, I'm assuming no but I wanted to ask.

Moving our Google Analytics Account to a New Account

My company is building a new website with a new web development company. Our old website development company hosted our Google Analytics account on their account (this was done 13+ years ago, probably a good idea then, but we definitely would've done it differently knowing what we know now). I've been researching how we could move our GA property to a new account owned by us, but according to this article: "There are some circumstances in which you cannot move a property:
-> The source account and the destination account are not in the same Google Marketing Platform organization. Contact an organization admin to make sure both accounts belong to the same organization." In our case, the source account and the destination account do not belong to the same organization. I may just have to accept that we are losing 13+ years of historical data about our website, and if that's the case, oh well. But, if anyone has an idea how we can export/import our GA data to our new analytics account, I would greatly appreciate it.

Google Analytics & Google Sheets

Hi guys, I'm looking to use google analytics google sheets extension to pull data into a google sheet with metrics from other tools e.g. semrush, moz, etc. From my understanding with google analytics google sheet extension its designed to run reports and doesn't really allow you to add other metrics. Hi, Need help on how to exclude traffic for a specific mobile device in Google Analytics view. I have been searching and the only information available is excluding IP address of internal traffic. Is there any way to exclude traffic through a mobile MAC address?

Is Google doing anything about the spam referrer plague in Google Analytics?

My client manages 15+ websites and we have observed the spam referrer issue has gotten steadily worse and worse in the last few months. I took the time to weed out the worst offenders via traffic filters but our referral traffic source garden was quickly full of weeds again a few weeks later. Does anybody know what the Google Analytics development team is doing to combat the spam referrer issue? I find it quite amazing that Google goes through the asinine effort to block out organic keyword data ("not found" & "not provided) but they don't seem to care about blacklisting/filtering spam referrers. Not many pages being indexed on google

Hi I am putting in to Google: site:www.mysite.com to see the pages listed on Google - the figure Google is coming back with is much lower than the actual pages, I have no crawer warning etc... What could the problem be? Thanks

How to hook up a ppc campaign to a google + Page

Greetings,
Sometimes you just want to give Google a big slap for making straight forward requests damn impossible. So all i ma trying to ad is point a ppc ad at this Google + account <a>https://plus.google.com/118393512656496298734#118393512656496298734/posts</a> But i get a warning sign saying:
"The URL must be for a Google+ page, not a personal profile" I then spend half an hour tring to find a Google + page but get no where fast 😞 Warning message illustrated here:
