Should we move old videos from 1 YouTube channel to new channel , so that old videos ranking does not get affected?

I would not recommend doing this.

Huh, that's a very clever idea. I don't think it will work though! What you are saying is that, only a few videos on a channel sit on that channel's main feed, which is where the channel most prominently links to them. Once videos get older, they kind of 'fall off' the channel's front-page feed, and thus get less link-juice. Is that right?
The thing is, your main (first) channel has inbound links pointing to it -right? And some of those videos also have backlinks too, if they are very popular. That's what makes them rank well (that and YouTube internal metrics like comments and shares and stuff).
If you move popular videos to a new channel, their URLs will change. That means that any backlinks pointed at your video (or the channel which links to the video) will be 'cut off' from the videos new placement. As such I'd expect this move, to see even worse rankings (not better ones)
It's a clever idea, I can see what you are saying - but no I wouldn't recommend it and I don't think it would work out as you had intended
Keep thinking in that way, it's smart. But on this particular occasion, no don't do it

Videos on Home Page
Hello, My company is currently in the process of editing our website's homepage. My creative team wants to add several videos to an already big home page. I would like a more simple and less interactive home page. There has to be close to a half dozen videos already on the page. I know that Google bots have trouble crawling some items like java. I also know that page speed is a huge factor and the mobile first index is quickly approaching. Is it ok to have all of these videos on home page? Could this due harm to the page. All the videos are hosted on Vimeo and typically expand from some sort of icon. Page load time has been an issue and this will probably be our last update before google's mobile first index. I just want to make sure I am giving the correct advice by saying there is no problem with 6+ videos on a home page. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Uploading product videos to video sharing sites
Is it a good idea to upload my product description videos to video sharing sites? What would be the benefit? Does it matter that my videos are in a foreign language? Which sites do you recommend? How many should I target?

How do I correctly use YouTube?
Hello! I have a someone that does online guitar lessons - their site is www.frethub.com. They use YouTube videos to promote the lessons on their site like this one - http://youtu.be/C1dOYys0H14, they're not the complete lesson but an intro to entice them on. The videos are of a really high quality and have had a few hundred hits in a couple of months - when I did a search on YouTube for "ledato guitar lesson" as an example they were nowhere to be seen despite the quality of the video and using tags etc. Anyway long intro! What I was wondering is are the rankings on YouTube based predominantly on number of hits or is there a way to use the tags better (presently they put in keywords and what comes up in the autosuggest), does how recently they were uploaded, author authority etc have anything to do with it? I appreciate it's a massive subject so any help is much appreciated 🙂 Thanks alot!

What Tactics Are You Using for Video Marketing?
Hey everybody, I finally started shooting some screen capture videos and it is actually fun! Right now, I am uploading to Youtube and soon, Vimeo. Next, I embed them on a post and share it around a few social sites, Tweet it, and share it on my Facebook Page. I know there are more effective ways and sites for doing this. What tips can you Mozzers share? Thanks, Jared

Youtube Social Blog - how to set this up?
I noticed that some sites have a specific section on Youtube, under the structure youtube.com/social/blog, which contains backlinks to the site. For example, this Twilight blog: http://www.youtube.com/social/blog/twilightish I've had trouble finding out information about this. Is this auto-generated by Youtube, or can someone set this up?
