For the last 4 hours of so we were registering zero users and Adsense reporting has not changed. We checked the site, and there were no problems. It seems for some reason there was no reporting. Just now it came back up and we are showing live traffic. Trying to figure out if this was a problem specific to us or if it is on Google's end.

Yeap, there were many service outage in Google services, besides being reported by the community, they don't report them on their online status dashboards:
- Gsuite status - Google
- Analytics status - Google
Although these issues rarely happen, you shouldn't be worried.

Will changing the property from http to https in Google Analytics affect main unfiltered view?

I set my client up with an unfiltered view in Google Analytics. This is the one with historical data going back for years, so I don't want to do anything that will affect this view. Recently, the website moved from HTTP to HTTPS. There's a setting for the property that will allow me to change the property name to https://EXAMPLE.com and change the default URL to https://EXAMPLE.com. Questions: 1. If I change the property name and the default URL, will this somehow affect my unfiltered view in a way that I'll lose historical data or data moving forward? 2. I have heard that changing the default URL to HTTPS will help me avoid a common problem others have experienced (where they lose the referrer in Google Analytics and a bunch of their sessions go to direct / other). Is this true?

How To Stop Google's "Fetch & Render" From Showing Up In Google Analytics

Hi all, Within Google's "Fetch & Render" (found in Google Search Console) is the ability to index certain pages from my website on-demand. Unfortunately, every time I ask Google to index a page, it registers as a bounce in Google Analytics. Also, if it means anything, my website (www.knowtro.com) is a single-page application, functioning similarly to Google. If you guys know of any solution to this problem, please help! I originally thought that Google would know to block its own Fetch & Render crawler from Google Analytics but that doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks, Austin

Hello All, In google analytic for google /cpc it is showing url with 404 which even not exists in my database that also more than 300 per day. How can it is possible? it is showing /black-friday-offers but I don't have such page. Thanks!

Regular Expressions in Google Analytics

Hi All I've been struggling to create a regular expression for a Google Analytics goal step that would match the following: ^/specifictextstring/anytextstring/anytextstring/
^/specifictextstring/anytextstring/ However I don't want it to match any URLs that end with: /anytextstring**_**phonecall or /phonecall, for example: /specifictextstring/anytextstring/anytextstring/anytextstring**phonecall

How can I use Google Analytics to detect users viewing my website on a TV?

I want to see in Google Analytics whether or not people are viewing my website on a TV, such as with a smart TV or other device connected to their TV. These are the only ways to do this that I have found so far: Operating system: Google TV, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, Xbox Browser: Nintendo Browser, Playstation 3 Are there other data points that I can reliably use to segment these users?

Morning all, i am using Google analytics for some time now, One of the issues that i don't have a clear answer for is, when i am looking at Traffic Source --> overview In the Keyword column, that is a line (not provided) What we think here is that we cant see the keywords if someone arrived to our website but was logged-in to Google account Is this correct? is there a way to find the keywords behind this (not provided)? - i have many visits for this line (17.3% of all visits) and i don't know which keywords people used. Google Analytics question

Hi, I recently relaunched my site on a wordpress CMS. The relaunch has gone well except for a category of traffic within Google Analytics which is referral traffic from google.co.uk (its a UK site) which has dropped off hugely. The non-paid search traffic from google.co.uk is the same or better than it was. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between referral traffic from google.co.uk and non-paid search traffic from google.co.uk. Thanks for your help. Ben

Google Analytics Customer filters & the correct syntax

Good afternoon from torential rain and thunder Wetherby UK 😞 Ive been delving into the world of custom filters in Google analytics and Ive hit a problem. Apart from Googles advice being out of date (wont get into that one) I wanted to set up clone a profile of an existing site and set up a filter that would exclde USA traffic. But a country can be called many things e.g. United Sates USA America so how do you know what is the correct name to put in the filter pattern box? Here is a screen shot of my efforts :http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc53/zymurgy_bucket/filter-toexclude-usatrafficcopy.jpg (I chaned it to United States) So my question is where is there a list of the correct syntax for the filter pattern box?
