Google Analytics question
-
Hi,
I recently relaunched my site on a wordpress CMS.
The relaunch has gone well except for a category of traffic within Google Analytics which is referral traffic from google.co.uk (its a UK site) which has dropped off hugely.
The non-paid search traffic from google.co.uk is the same or better than it was.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between referral traffic from google.co.uk and non-paid search traffic from google.co.uk.
Thanks for your help. Ben

The referral traffic that I've seen from Google has always been from Google image searches. If you removed a bunch of images or changed their paths when switching to the new site, you may have lost traffic from image searches.

See this info here - http://support.google.com/analytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1011811&ctx=cb&src=cb&cbid=-1lv5wpxwzizr&cbrank=1
I'd recommend building a custom report to see full traffic referal info - look at the full url, and not just the domain - I built this custom report for myself and I find it very helpful - it's for an ecommerce site, but you can change the ecommerce info for goal info if that fits better

Paid traffic or "Paid Search" is not showing in my Google Analytics
Hi, I have two campaigns running in Google Adwords or Google Ads now and I saw in Google Ads account that I had 5 clicks today (09/18/2018) but when I try to search for this clicks in my Google Analytics in ACQUISITION > All Traffic > Channels I don't find nothing about "Paid Search" or something like that. Bellow is a picture of my Google Analytics account to prove it. The accounts are linked and I can find the 2 campaigns in the Analytics. How can I interpret this picture? Where the paid traffic is showing? or not showing there? Thanks Leandro uvAtrsg

Increase in Direct traffic, drop in Google traffic, after updating Google Analytics settings.
I made some changes to our Google Analytics property settings (see notes in screenshot). As a result, there was an equal drop in Google traffic and increase in Direct traffic. Has anyone else seen something like this before? I'm wondering if I should revert. jE7buO6

Google Analytics
Looking at a client's analytics - one page doesn't seem to record 'average time on page' data (it just displays 0.00 despite it receiving traffic) This isn't an issue for the rest of the website's pages. Any idea? http://www.smilestyledental.co.uk/ppc/general-dentistry-at-smile-style.html thanks for any help!

Setting up goals in Google Analytics
Hello! This question is seems so obvious that I'm also ashamed to ask... almost. If the goal of a website is to have a visitor complete a contact form, when setting up the Goal in Google Analytics (as a "URL destination") the URL of choice would be the form's thank you page, correct? Because that's the page that proves the visitor completed the task we want them the achieve. Right? Thanks!
