Comments on VoltRank?

Hi gurus from SEOville.
Have any of you used VoltRank and if so, have any comments about them? they make it sound like being better than a link exchange but then again sometimes it is hard to see past the marketing spin.

I've been using voltrank for several months now and i must say i love it.
It can give you a nice and steady link growth comming from quality sites. All sites i promote using voltrank move up it the serps.

I'm not sure how they're better than any other link exchange. It's just a big link exchange network from the looks of it. I don't personally have any experience with it, but I don't see anything particularly wonderful about it.

Does Dofollow links from forumn profiles, blog comments, business directories or article directories etc have any impact?
Hi guys, So looking at my competitors in my city a lot of the people ranking on 2nd, 3rd pages and so forth have little or no quality backlinks, instead, their links are all from business directories, forum profiles and blog comments. I saw google employees saying easy to create links hold very little value and it's easy for the algorithm to distinguish been easy to obtain backlinks and difficult ones. From what I see on my competition backlink profiles, they may not get them to the front page but they do get them to pages, two three and four. I was wondering if creating say 20-30 easy links per week and also focus on obtaining high-quality backlinks. Would they be any penalties for 20-30 easy to make links a week from Google? Cheers

Houzz Comment Links
A company I am working with has been posting pictures and links to their website in the comments section of Houzz articles. I notice many companies have been doing this in general. While it generates decent amounts of traffic, I am wondering if google sees 30 links coming from article comments that it will deem that as spam? My gut tells me to send these comment links to the Houzz member profile, then direct them to your own website. Thoughts? ***Anyone in home design, decor, etc. should really get involved there. Fantastic source of business for professional in that field.

Blog Commenting, how to start?
Greetings Mozzers, I have read that interacting on blogs in a natural way is good for building relationships as well as earning links. This is what I'd like to do, however what is the best way to find blogs to start doing this for different industries? Google [industry blogs]? Go to competitors and look at their link profiles to see if there are blogs they are on? Whats a good way to start this method? All the advice/clarification would be outstanding!

Blog Comments
We all get them ... spam blog comments. People do it to get link value back to their site. Recently, someone approached me to do this for our site but on niche sites that are related to our content and to provide good valueable comments within a blog post of about 100 words each, and genuinely try to engage.They also were talking about finding blogs that have "follow" links in their comments space, since most do not. I still declined it because it is somewhat 'grey-hat' rather than 'white-hat' linking, and we want to be above-board on everything. Although we personally declined this approach, I'm curious your thoughts though on whether gaining links from blog comments from related, niche sites is a good idea. Like this question? What after I place a blog comment
I have started commenting on high PR DoFollow blogs more strongly off late. I don't do it just for the heck of it. I comment on relevant posts, go through them nicely and make sensible comments. This way I make sure my comments are not removed by the admin, What I want to know is... What after I make the comment and put my website's URL there? Does that mean I have got a backlink already? Or do I need to do something else too to make sure Google recognizes that as a backlink? I have the same question regarding forum postings too.

When commenting on blogs and the only link you can have is your author name (Ex. Commented by Mike), what are you gonna have, a name, the name of your company or the keyword that you are trying to rank for? Thanks!

Want to get some thoughts if some of you still see significant (or have ever) results from blog comment links. Heard them all about why it's worth it, people see you, click, etc etc etc... Want anyone to share experience with this type of link building and if you guys think its worth it and has seo value.

I wanna buy dofollow comments, can be there any negative effects? I understand that is a kind of a black hat seo, but i saw many sites who used this type of service and get boosted in the search engine ranking.
