How long it takes to index links?
-
I am making quality links on my website robomodo but still not index by moz and have not impact on da of my website.
-
Same question i wanna ask I am creating backlinks for https://www.janbasktraining.com/. Why does it take lot of time to get indexed?
-
@Waqas4630 Yes, agree.
-
This does depend, for example we run a marketing agency, and some backlinks are indexed in a matter of days after they are built, some take weeks or even months to get indexed by Google.
-
The time it takes for links to be indexed by search engines can vary widely. Generally, it can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks for search engines to discover and index new links. Factors such as the authority of the linking site, the frequency of content updates, and the relevance of the linked content can all influence indexing speed.
-
It can take a long time sometimes for new links to get indexed.
It can take over two weeks for the new links to get indexed; thats our experience, and we run a large company that builds garden rooms.
-
Variation of links depends on your anchor text covered by percentage. So, in my opinion whenever you create make sure also give backlinks to authority site for fast index as well as you money site like on my site http://www.zombocalypse2.org/ follow my steps to index fast your site links.

Hey, thanks for contacting us!
Link Explorer and the Links tab of Moz Pro Campaigns are both tied to our Link index, which is constantly updating.
Our index updates daily! Moz crawls and indexes billions of pages, adding fresh link data every day. When discovered or lost links are found, we'll update our database to reflect those changes in your scores and link counts. We prioritize the links we crawl based on a machine learning algorithm to mimic Google's index. Each day DA and PA will be updated to reflect this new data. This does not mean that DA and PA will change every day; it'll only change if we find new link data for a respective site.
I'm sorry I can't tell you exactly when your DA will update it depends on when we find new equity passing backlinks to your site.
You can read more about our new Link Explorer tool and our index here.

Post index of quality back links; How long should you leave it to see if it's had any impact?
The question is pretty much in the title. We had a link from a Charity site (high PA/ DA) and from Metro online recently. Indexed about 3 weeks ago and 5 days ago respectively. No movement to speak off. (Previously we've seen significant boosts from far lesser links). Should I assume they have had no effect? Or is too early to tell I know it takes up to 2 months for some of our new pages to rank, same with passing authority from links? (Note: I appreciate the competition will play a significant part in this, but my question is specifically about how long one should leave to know one way or another. )

Internal Linking - Post links vs Side Bar Links behaving differently
Hi, I have a question regarding the internal linking behavior. My website is www.hindimeaning.com which is approx 3 years old. I have approx 450 posts. Now i have a widget on right sidebar "Popular posts". A widget below my posts "Related Posts". And a simple html CSS menu above the posts (I removed menu around 6 month before so currently it will not show.) I crawled my site with moz crawler (same are the result from google crawler as well) and it shows menus links as internal links. While sidebar widget "Popular posts" and "Related Posts" are not showing as internal links. If we talk theoretically what i learn till now is "every link on a page behaves as internal link". Then why the widget links are not showing as internal links. Thanks, Mahesh Kumar

Resource linking
Is a resource linking page a good way to build backlinks? Do I need to ask permission of the site I am linking? & If do build a resource page do I have to keep in mind keyword density rule, not to stuff too many links on page? I see one of my competitors using a "resource page" and linking to some high athority sites, (which I know they have not asked permission) b/c they are big name site, NFL, NHL, ESPN etc. Any suggestions much appreciated! Thank you!!!

I cant say i feel comfortable about doing it but they are my links and are related to our products. Any advice much appreciated.

Do image links with no alt tags pass link value?
"... an image link with no alt tag is useless to search engines..." according to a Nov 2007 seomoz blog post. Is this still the case in 2011? I ask because I'm about to obtain a banner link on a high-traffic site (chiefly for the clickthrough value) but I notice the site uses neither "title" nor "alt" tags.
