METADATA DESCRIPTION

Hi All
I have a metadata issue. My site crawl is coming back with missing descriptions, but all of the pages look like having descriptions
<meta property="og:description" content="תפריט BBB כיכר רבין" />
Has anyone ever saw a similar problem and have an idea of what is wrong?

Hi,
The meta description is very important for SEO. It sums up your page content. Your page will receive more clicks with this meta tag.
If you use WordPress, you should install SEO plugins like Yoast to add and manage meta descriptions.
Title and meta description tags are the best places to add important keywords.

That specific meta data tag is for Facebook. There's a good chance if that issue is showing in your audit then you may not have a meta description present.
You can always manually look at the source code for this tag: "<meta name="description".
I wouldn't stress about it too much updating meta descriptions is usually low priority item.

Why does my 301 show the old urls with new descriptions and titles?
Hi all, We've just rebranded. The 301 appears to have worked well and moved the results and rankings onto the new domain. However a site:olddomain.com search in Google brings up about a hundred pages that have the new titles and descriptions but show the old urls - does anyone have any idea how to make the old domain disappear from the SERPS? Meta Description: How to Implement It?
I'm pretty new to SEO and am starting to implement the knowledge that I've learned into the websites that I'm working on. The websites have already been created but without Meta-descriptions. How do I add meta descriptions to Archives in Wordpress?
My most recent crawl returned a number of 'missing meta description' errors, and when I checked individual URLs, it turned out they were Wordpress Archived pages - for individual months and days (e.g. http:// .../2011/01). What's the best way to go about adding descriptions to these pages, if at all? Or should I have these pages not be indexed? I am using the All in One SEO plugin, so maybe there is an easy fix through this plugin, or it may be the cause of these errors? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance! **EDIT After looking it up further, I have decided to use noindex for Archives, which should solve my problem right? Or is there a benefit to having those archived pages?
