How .ae and .com domain in SEO performance for UAE region?

I have a domain for my UAE based project called https://mydubaiseo.com/ and however, one of my colleagues suggested going with .ae option.
Whether if we change the domain like as suggested get earlier results than .com domain or what?\Which domain .com or .ae ranks faster in UAE location if the SEO strategies followed in the same way? -
@0eup-ombitao yes ae is stronger than .com if it is regional oriented website

@melissabrown I think it's up to the natives which domain extension they prefer. Personally, a country where English is not the main language: I still prefer .COM.

Great question! Country code top level domains are the single strongest way to show search engines and users that site content is specifically targeted to a certain country or region! So, if you are targeting potential customers in the UAE, and know that you will continue to focus on this country, using the .ae TLD is a great way to do that! It will signal to Google that your website's content is highly relevant to an audience in this country. Here's a great resource on country code top level domains.
However, there are some initial challenges with changing a domain name, especially if you've already built up an audience and backlinks. You may initially see a drop in rankings and traffic, but this is usually temporary. If you do plan on changing the TLD, I would recommend doing this sooner than later! @0eup-ombitao TLD - Top level domain is to help sites e.g. you might find you go to a .co.uk for UK sites etc. its not essential to ranks though, if lots of links are related to the source material you'll find you can rank regardless. The biggest reason I would swap is your users, are they used to going to .com domains or .ae domains which do they trust more? Just remember Google wants to give users what it thinks is the best result for a search not which TLD is most related to the country

Redirection of 100 domain to Main domain affects SEO?
Hi guys, An email software vendor managed by a different area of my company redirected 100 domains used for unsolicited email campaigns to my main domain. These domains are very likely to get blacklisted at some point. My SEO tool now is showing me all those domains as "linking" to my main site as do-follow links. The vendor states that this will not affect my main domain/website in any way. I'm highly concerned. I would appreciate your professional opinion about this. Thanks!!

Massive unexplained organic traffic drop; disappeared from Google

Our site has experienced a huge organic traffic drop, specifically from Google. The drop occurred on Feb 19 and I've got no clue why it happened. We have not made any significant changes to the website and it doesn't look like there was an algorithm update last week. We don't have any Google penalties or indexing issues noted, and the drop isn't specific to any particular segment/region/keyword. What am I missing? Any advice or insight is super duper appreciated. Is domain forwarding the same as a 301 redirect?
Hi, I have an older domain with some SEO auth for varying pages and a newer domain that is for the brand. Right now there are some 301s for about 13 pages and we are currently moving servers. I was wondering if domain forwarding is the same as writing 301 redirects for each page or is it something different (302)?

Umlaut in domain
Hi, My client wants to expand it's business to Germany and logically we need a domain name to match. We've found a great one and regsiterd several variants to it. However I just found out that in Germany it is possible (while here it's not) to register a domain with an umlaut. My question is: will google assign more value to: schÀdlinge.de than schadlinge.de when users search for schÀdlinge? If yes, how large will the difference be? (I will use an umlaut in the title etc) Kind regards,

Beating a keyword Domain
Has anyone here managed to beat a keyword/exact match domain to top spot? I am currently second and wondering if it is worth the time and effort to knock it off the top spot. How hard is it to get these very annoyingly favoured domains off 1st? Any help and advice much appreciated.

Subdomain and Domain Rankings
I have read here that domain names with keywords might add a boost to your search rank For instance using a completely inane example monkey-fights.com might get a boost compared to mfl.com (monkey fighting league) Â when searching for "monkey fights" There seems to be a hot debate as to how much bonus the first domain might get over the second, but leaving that aside for the moment. Question 1. Would monkey-fights.mfl.com get the same kind of bonus as a root domain bonus? Question 2. If the answer to 1 above was yes would a 301 redirect from the suddomain URL to root domain URL retain that bonus I was just thinking on how hard it is to get root domains these days that are not either being squatted on etc. and if this might be a way to get the same bonus, or maybe subdomains are less bonus prone and so it would be a waste of time Thanks
