why google never shows Coursera or Udemy videos in the SERP?
-
I work for a website pretty much like Coursera, and google never brings up our videos in the SERP.
It has been indexed and Search Console URL Inspection tool identifies it as a video object.
is it a technical issue or just google doesn't like to show us in the SERP? Is there any way to fix this?

To address the issue of Google not displaying your website's videos, especially in comparison to platforms like Coursera or Udemy, and to explore the possibility of inserting backlinks to relevant Python tutorials, Python programming techniques can be utilized. Here's how you can approach it:
Video Optimization with Python:
Use Python libraries such as BeautifulSoup or Selenium to scrape and analyze the HTML structure of your website's video pages. Ensure that each video page includes appropriate metadata, such as title, description, and tags, optimized for relevant keywords including "Python tutorials" or related topics.Structured Data Markup:
Utilize Python libraries like json or schema to generate structured data markup (e.g., JSON-LD format) for your video content. This markup helps search engines understand the context and relevance of your videos, potentially improving their visibility in search results.Backlink Integration:
Identify relevant Python tutorials or blog posts on your website that could complement your video content. Use Python scripts to automatically insert backlinks to these tutorials within the video descriptions or related sections of your website. This can be done using content management system (CMS) APIs or web scraping techniques.Keyword Analysis:
Employ Python's natural language processing (NLP) libraries such as NLTK or spaCy to analyze keywords and phrases commonly associated with Python tutorials. Optimize your video titles, descriptions, and tags to include these keywords, enhancing the likelihood of your videos appearing in relevant search queries.Monitor and Adjust:
Continuously monitor the performance of your video pages in Google search results using Python scripts for web scraping and data analysis. Track changes in ranking positions, click-through rates (CTR), and other relevant metrics. Adjust your optimization strategies based on the insights gathered from these analyses.

Videos on Home Page
Hello, My company is currently in the process of editing our website's homepage. My creative team wants to add several videos to an already big home page. I would like a more simple and less interactive home page. There has to be close to a half dozen videos already on the page. I know that Google bots have trouble crawling some items like java. I also know that page speed is a huge factor and the mobile first index is quickly approaching. Is it ok to have all of these videos on home page? Could this due harm to the page. All the videos are hosted on Vimeo and typically expand from some sort of icon. Page load time has been an issue and this will probably be our last update before google's mobile first index. I just want to make sure I am giving the correct advice by saying there is no problem with 6+ videos on a home page. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Google Places Images
Hi, i recently added a image to google places listing uploaded via the google places dashboard. It was uploaded about 3-4 weeks ago. The image is exactly 1024x1024 in size. I'm not sure whether google is not displaying it because its too big, or because it takes a while for google to start showing images for places listing. I was reading it can take up to 6 weeks. I don't want to have to wait 6 weeks, then find out the reason why the picture wasn't uploaded was because it was too big. Any suggestions on how i can find out which one is the case? Thanks, Matt

Thoughts on Google's New NAP Dispaly on Google+ Local
Hi, Do you think ACTION needs to happen based on Google's new NAP formatting change? They are changing Suite or STE to #. So for example 265 Racine Dr #100 Wilmington, NC 28403 Even if you enter in Suite they change it to pound. I am wondering the thoughts of the community of the following: 1. Do you think Google knows that STE, Suite, and # are all the same 2. Do you feel that we need to change ALL online local business listings and our website to match this change. 3. Here is the letter from Google on the matter FROM GOOGLE: Thanks for informing us about your address appearing differently on your local Google+ page than it does on your dashboard. After looking further, we've determined that 240 Stockton St #300 San Francisco, CA 94108 is an appropriate way for your listing to be displayed. Note that the address on your page might be different from what you've input into your dashboard. Our processes might alter user-input addresses to make them more standardized and easier for users to access. Thanks for understanding. Best, Nathan

Video SEO: Should I add Video Transcriptions to You Tube Videos Even with Google CC?
So, You Tube allows plenty of room from descriptions. I think 5,000 characters. Google does a poor Closed Caption of our audio. Should I also be adding accurate transcriptions to the description field in YouTube to help my Video SEO. What are the pro's cons and is it worth doing?

Genuine Reciprocal Google Places Reviews, is that OK?
I have a client who works with other businesses, is it OK to have reciprocal reviews going on, they would be genuine reviews both both sides as they work for each other. Is that OK? Is it best for my client to use the Google Account that holds their Google Places page for doing the reviews? Or should they have a separate account for writing reviews, not associated with their business? I would appreciate your thoughts on this please? Many thanks Leo

Google local - is 7 pack really gone
According to a searchengineland post, Google has replaced "7 pack" results. But they are still appearing for local queries. Like for query "pizza restaurant new delhi" ( in Google.co.in ), i can still see 7 pack results. Has local and general search algorithms merged ?
